I love your story, your wardrobe, your creativity, and your attitude. I, too, love colorful clothes with flowers or other beautiful prints. I refuse to wear bland colors with no character. My sewing machine and I haven't spoken in years, but lately I've been on a kick of hand sewing hoody style pockets onto the front of some of my shirts, even my pajama top, just for the convenience of having a place to put my phone, my glasses, the remote, or whatever I'll be needing. It's been so handy! Keep living your best life!

Thank you for giving our video a watch. We value that people enjoy different things. For some, being extra creative in their closet gives them joy. ❣
@rhodawatkins45163 ай бұрын
But I think she gets a lot of joy out of her colorful, creative wardrobe, and if you sew some yourself, and thrift some, plus doing some customizing on some items, you can have a wonderful, memorable wardrobe for not a lot of money.

I put on a dressy T shirt and grab one of my denim skirts that I made from 3 pair of jeans and I am ready for anything. I am comfortable and look appropriate for any situation in my life. I don't pay attention to fashion. I have no one to impress. I am glad to find there are other people who also just dress with their own style.

We LOVE this! I bet that skirt is amazing!

Even if someone dresses to impress, it’s still their own style. Your way is yours, it’s not a better way. Women are so unsupportive to others, you’re affecting the next generation in such a negative way.

I'm so happy for you, what an incredible journey. I think you must be artistic since you see patterns in a unique way and life should be your own and fun. There is a women on QVC who has a business blending different patterns of clothing also. I don't remember her name but you reminded me of her in your style. 🎉

Awesome vid! How one moves is correct and that it is done at one's own rhythm, how that impacts on the final result is what it is. Stylist Amy Bannerman encourages people to do the vintage 2nd hand route which I think is great for the recycling of pre loved clothing. But how we move and carry what we wear is so essential to being able to take something that may be humble but, with great posture ensuring a regal bearing is maintained it matters little how much an ensemble costs because, at the root it is all about the human in it. 🤩

I was intrigued watching and listening to your TED talk. Finding your authentic self, resonance, and inner rhythm WOW. I get it! I'm going to be watching my friends and family to see if I can recognize what quadrant they fall into. As you were explaining my (and your) quadrant I had an aha moment Yes, when I put on a certain outfit that holds my shape I can see and feel the change in myself. I've subscribed to your channel. I hope to see a lot more videos. Cheers from Canada.

One of the reasons I only shop for clothing at charity shops is that I cannot predict what I'll come across and this element of surprise is definitely helping me to form a style, instead of it being dictated by the latest trends. The other reason I choose charity shops is because fashion is one of the biggest sources of pollution and I hate to be contributing to it.

I'm so inspired by you!! Hearing you speak about movement and self-expression and pace and clothing is hearing in words how I live and why I've always been self-expressive through my clothing and the ensembles I put together. Knowing it will change and that that is expected is super comforting, especially as I continue to slog through perimenopause. :P

Molly, I recently watched your Ted Talk and was thrilled to see someone express a truism I've been fortunate enough to heed my own life: when you feel great in your clothes/ensembles, you act and feel empowered. That black blouse with the dots and full sleeves... so distinctive and kind of nouveau mod! All my life I've put together my own unique ensembles and sewed a lot of my own clothes in my teens and 20s for that very reason. Nobody else could be wearing what I was! Thank you for manifesting such a glorious vision there in Kansas City. If you ever decide to expand to Portland, OR, I'll see you here! 💜
