what gearing are you running on your bike?
@cgausta8 жыл бұрын
+darthninja_10r : This is a 2007 R1. I run 15/44 gearing at Thunderhill and Sonoma. And I don't use 1st or 6th gear at either track.

@RoccoR16V - The black thing is a "sock" over the brake fluid reservoir. They're intended to prevent brake fluid from getting on the track.

What camera and mount are you using? I have a Gopro 3 using a Ram Mount in the stem and the vibrations are terrible!
@cgausta11 жыл бұрын
I also use a stem mount. But made by Tech Mount. And then I use the tripod mount from GoPro to mount the camera to the stem mount. I think it is the tripod mount that eliminates the vibration. I do not use the GoPro quick release mounts, because those DO vibrate a lot, even with that rubber isolator installed.

Ha ha! I will take that as a compliment to my shifting! I never had a quickshifter on my 954. I shifted it manually every time just by closing the throttle and stepping on the shifter. I never used the clutch during upshifts. And I had a reverse shift pattern, which I think helped. I ran that bike on the track from 2002 to 2007. It never had any transmission issues. In fact, no issues at all with that Honda for the 5 years I owned it.

Thanks for the comment!
@cgausta11 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the comments. The mount is from Tech Mount. They call it a stem mount. It is a universal fit kit. You can see a video of my setup in my playlist called, "walk-arounds". I do not use an external mic. But I do use the "skeleton" door on the GoPro camera case, which provides better sound, I think.
@Dedespeed1711 жыл бұрын
Hi ! Sorry for my english spoken. I like your channel, your bike(i have a R1 2007 ;-)) and your ride. And so, can you say me what is your Go Pro Mount do you use for all videos ? Awesome results. Do you use an external mic ? Thanks so lot for your answers and yours channel. I have subscribe to February. ;-)

No complaints regarding Motofit. I've heard negative feedback from other customers of theirs. This was my second time riding with them in two or three years, and they didn't do anything wrong in my book. My only comment is they run the groups in reverse order from most every other outfit. So milling around for 40 minutes for my first session took some getting used to.
