I can see the conversational topic being a reality in some mothers' minds. Do you also have conversations about women who abuse the "systems of help" available?

Such a powerful conversation - on so many different levels! I appreciated the self-compassion reminders, the reframing of confidence not being a goal to get to, and the perspective of millennials growing up with diet culture. I felt so seen and really needed this today. Thank you! 💜

Crap! I even just stuff my night shirt into my sweats. Either a light jacket or a sweatshirt to finish it off.

who told you you are that special? This is the case for everyone. we all feel we are loved when people need us until everyone walks away from you when you are the one who is in need. When you have kids it is not your duty to feel loved, your duty is to be used by those kids until they are ready to be autonomous. If you feel you are more important that your kids at any time then you should not have kids.

What a great truth, I bet this whole interview was a good one! It's amazing how many things we have in common with each other once we started talking about our experiences online

I was misdiagnosed with depression after having a baby, it was just stress and trauma snd baby blues. A helping hand and understanding would have fixed it. Instead no they gave me antidepressants that ruined my life, it's been 17 years and I'm still struggling to get off them.
