i have a 135i with the n54 it smokes on deceleration. mine is caused by the turbo seals. going to order the td04 19t twins off of ebay and see how they do.

So for the plugging of the head ports reliability and cleaner valves .but after that you going need vacuum release valve .This is way you who’d need to install a Vacuum relief valve allows you to dial in your crankcase vacuum to the precise level like 10 14 so you can seal your system with no fear of pulling too much vacuum through the system. If you do not regulate the vacuum,  on your system, You can pull too much vacuum and damage seals may squirt oil out of your high side catch can into your engine bay by pressurizing the system that is way you need check valve on the high side prevents the full engine vacuum from building up in the crank case.

PCV is actually two separate systems with unique faults and deficiencies. There is a low-pressure system low side, that works under vacuum or low pressure conditions idling, light acceleration, off the throttle, And there is a high pressure system, high side, that works when under boost or load. if you do not have high side check valve on the high side it will suck in hire and pull it through the crankcase so when whenever you’re on idle, the check valve on the low side will open and the crank valve on the high side will close so that way it does not suck in hire when the crankcase is under vacuum so if you do not have check valve on the high side it will suck in hire and pull it through the crankcase and then you will have a massive vacuum leak . If you just have low side catch can only with no check valve and you vented to atmosphere only you will have excessive crankcase pressure and then you will end up haveing smoke out the exhaust . so if just have check valve on the low side you will be fine when idle and Port throttle but you will have smoke under Boost .

Based on your set up with your PCV the factory valve cover as an internal check valve for the high side and the low side if deleted them, you’re going to have smoking issues and when you plug your ports, you’re going to need to have a vacuum release valve to regulate the vacuum on the system as well that will also cause smoking issues because you’re running an external PCV set up now

Redo the stock pcv and see if it will still smoke if not then maybe there’s something wrong with the catch can if the smoke didn’t stop then it’s probably the turbo went dead

Hey bro! I’ve got a 335iX and I’ve got a leak coming from the oil pan, pretty sure it’s the gasket itself, but since its got the xDrive system it’s a shitty job to do myself. Thing is, I’d like to take it to a mechanic shop but I’m scared of getting ripped off cause idk how much they should really charge for a job like that one. Question is, how much does your mechanic charge for things like valve cover gasket replacement? Thank you. Keep up the good work!

Could also be your valve stem seals but it depends on the color of the smoke that's coming out. My N63 had the same issue when I am at idle

With xhp in manual mode and sport button pressed how's your shifts 1st to second? My car shifts very hard, unusable

My issue was the PVC valve, upgraded to the billet one. Mostly only smoked at slow speeds or coming to a stop. Given what’s done to yours I imagine you’ve done that already.

Smoking because of a stuck injector id pull plugs after sitting overnight but they could be internally clogged and not show over night, internally clogged injectors cause intermittent sticking when letting off dumping fuel, i promise if you havent changed injectors in the past 20-30k miles thats the issue
