You should try shooting in 6k 50fps, also 50 bit looks great

Yes its out of sync, after a few moments, mine does it too, but only in 8k & 7k

Video looks a lot better, pretty much the same findings I'm having. Audio is out of sync when I recording 8K or 7K 30 FPS. once I drop the resolution down to 6K and put the frame rate at 50 FPS I find that the audio is perfect then. They should be bringing an update out at the end of this month that fixes this

Yes, I agree. These photos have come out much better than I would've imagined from this camera, never really thought about streaming photos together as a video, but definitely something I will be doing myself in the near future, will probably wait for the update before I make anything else.

I think the pics only came out this decent because we took them at the brightest time of the day. All pics I've taken later in the day haven't turned out as well. :0(

The CALD videos on DeoVR look good. Are you on DeoVR? You should upload there too. One guy on deo had upload his CALF vids, and it looked okay, but I've seen some videos where the CALF looked impressive. Maybe it's a setting or specific editing software they're using. It do up to 8k or 6k? Think it's 6k.

It's actually only a 7.2k camera. The box says 8 but the editor shows its not. Hugh Hou confirmed.

On the whole, I'm quite impressed with the quality coming out of this camera knowing it's current downfalls, video looks much better in 2-D, in the Meta Quest 3 it does look off and I think one of the reasons is the lenses need to be level with the subject. So you have the camera set lower than your high-level and higher than the audiences high-level, so in the headset nobody is at high-level. I think as you have two of these cameras, and if you have somebody, you can trust to look after both of them, place in one camera, looking at the audience high-level to the audience then your second camera looking at you I level to you. Then editing between the two shots would be perfect to record your show in 3-D 180.

Nice clip thouth I noticed that the cam was not leveled right, I had to tilt my head a bit to watch it correctly in youtube. Other programs like DeoVr can correct the tilt from the app menu.

I had the settings incorrect. which is why my legs looked so skinny and long and the woman closest to the camera, her legs look so short. Level camera, incorrect export settings. My fail.

More specifically, this is what happened when I used the FISH EYE setting in cam. I will now always stick with VR mode :0)

@@WBH-VR other than leveling , the video looks good in the Metaquest to be in a low light environment.

At this point I want more from the camera so I would wait up til the last day of pre order to see how much has been ironed out. That's just me though. I'm going to post some PHOTO SAMPLES later today.

Great video thank you for making it, I've got my camera about five days ago and I've experienced all the things that you've talked about in this video. However, one of the main things I've got is when I upload my videos to KZbin as you have done they do not go VR 180, they stay as a side-by-side image almost like they don't have the correct method in the video file. Do you mind me asking how you overcome this, and were able to upload to KZbin and make them VR 180 ready. Your video looks way better than the videos I'm making with mine, mine are straight out of the camera maybe you are doing some post edit?

I edited mine in premiere pro and actually had to go into the "sequence settings" - VR tab and set it to 180 by 180. Then I double checked and did the same in the output settings.

@@WBH-VR well, you did a great job, very impressed with your set up and makes me want to get a second camera for now. I will hold fire until we see what happens with the updates. As a point in Shoot camera, it falls way behind because I consider myself to be a very technical person, but the camera loses me lol.
