Stop jubilating about this so-called visa free in Ghana announce by an expired president Nana Addo. The new government will cancel it. It was not a thought through policy, and Ghanaians don't want it.
@victoriakofi51511 күн бұрын
It not going to happen we Ghanaians would not agree to it .Useless failed Nana Addo should go and leave Ghana in peace. We Ghanaians youths would pettines against it in parliament. We can't open our to criminals, drugs dealers and terrorism.
@kindomofghana9 күн бұрын
I find it funny when Ghanaian object this because I know that they are probably worried about one particular country and not the whole of Africa. You are probably referring to Nigerians. Your worries are valid, however, Nigerian have had visa free access to Ghana for decades because of the ECOWAS agreement. That’s why they are many in Ghana and they keep increasing.
@victoriakofi5159 күн бұрын
@kindomofghana You don't understand the ECOWAS visa free after 90days you have go back to your Nigeria but because our failed Nana Addo government are not using the rules or laws that is why we have a lot Nigerians prostitutes yahoo Yahoo boys and Internet scammers on our streets . 2025 things would be different. All these lots would be deported back to Nigeria make my words.

Great video... That 'therapy' you recommend at 10.30 to 11 minutes... I am all for it. I strongly believe many of these young African-Americans (FBAs?!) who appear deviants and all need to get some perspective from especially Africa... and they will appreciate how much they have back home in the States & probably they will up their game - especially as far as staying in school & landing them big-cheque jobs... I remember Shannon Sharpe shocked when he learned Francis Ngannou did not stay in school back home in Cameroon because his parents lacked the means to pay for his education... there is so much to say on this subject, but I will leave it at that for now... As an aside, I have visited the Elmina Castle in Ghana (2011) and indeed the experience does not leave one the same. I am from Uganda...

Jai White needs to spend more time in Ghana and educate himself on the history of slavery. Also, he is rich and famous, so he can ecpect respectful treatment and be welcomed. Ghanians in general are resentful and prejudiced against black people from the West, especially when they are mixed.

In 1974, Don King, the legendary boxing promoter, had a groundbreaking idea: he wanted to organize a world heavyweight boxing match between Muhammad Ali and George Foreman. However, he faced one significant challenge-he had no experience at this level and no money. Through his connections in the pan-Africanism movement of that era, he reached out to the government of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo) for assistance. The Zairean government advised Don King to first secure binding agreements for the fight with both Muhammad Ali and George Foreman. The rest, as they say, is history. Don King successfully obtained commitments from both fighters and financial support from the Zairean government. This pivotal moment launched his career as a top boxing promoter. A plan is proposed to transform a section of the arena where Ali and Foreman fought into a museum, commemorating this historic event. This case is just one example of the collaboration between people of African descent in the United States and those on the African continent aimed at fostering development and prosperity. In 1960, the United States government sent Louis Armstrong to tour African countries to strengthen relationships between Africa and the United States in the context of the Cold War against the Soviet Union. Activists George Washington Williams (1849-1891) and William Henry Sheppard (1865-1927) played pivotal roles in fighting against imperialism in the Belgian Congo, leading to the abolition of slave labor and other injustices in the region in 1890. Their efforts compelled the King of Belgium to relinquish control over the Congo. Figures such as Harry Belafonte , Jesse Jackson and many others, and the work of organizations like Trans-Africa and the Congressional Black Caucus contributed significantly to the fight against apartheid in South Africa and the overthrow of dictators in Africa during the late 1980s and 1990s. We take pride in being Americans and honoring our African roots, just like Don King, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, George Washington Williams, William Henry Sheppard, W.E.B. Du Bois, Marcus Garvey, Jesse Jackson, and even Elon Musk, who is a prominent billionaire and political figure in today’s America. Acknowledging these connections is not a form of anti-Americanism; it is a statement of fact. The American government maintains a presence in Africa through military bases, the use of the U.S. dollar, and American businesses and financial institutions. So, why not us the people? why not utilize partnerships? Why the controversy? Why the conflict? The African continent remains open to welcoming individuals from all nations, including African Americans. We are entering a new era of U.S.-Africa relations focused on development, economic growth, and prosperity. Unfortunately, some individuals in America are hindered by the demons of bigotry, anger, prejudice, and resentment. Centuries of trauma and injustice have led many to behave in ways that are not conducive to unity or progress. Additionally, too many are still suffering from what Minister Louis Farrakhan described as "mental death" and ignorance during the Million Man March in Washington, D.C., on October 16, 1995.

I know we have a complicated history. But it has to be a reason why we were kidnapped and brought to America 🇺🇸 these people could have kidnapped any other culture from anywhere else, but if you wanted to kidnap a group of people, who would you rather kidnap? The people of the pyramids, the spirit controllers, the star gazers and planet hunters? Wouldn’t you rather kidnap the demigods? Also the people of great compassion and forgiveness 💚

As a black American, I always had that desire to know my origin. I did the DNA test through ancestry and discovered that my roots are in Africa. 29% Nigerian, 26% Cameroon and other African countries listed. With 1% Greece. 1% Albania. It bothers me when people from other countries don't want to acknowledge another person just like you but living in a different part of the world. The same way that I embrace my blackness in America, I want to be able to embrace my REAL ORIGIN, THE AFRICAN SIDE, without being looked at because I'm born in America. I have nothing but love ❤ for Africa.And every day, I'm trying to learn more about Africa.
