The Suns are making a serious push for Jimmy Butler as the Feb. 6 trade deadline nears. Per ESPN’s Tim Bontemps and Brian Windhorst, Butler is their top target, and both he and the Heat are open to a deal-but so far, Miami isn’t loving the offers. One thing feels inevitable: Butler’s time with the Heat might be coming to an end.

He is so unskilled. He has gotten by on his height, PED’s, and athleticism. Look at how his shot STILL looks awkward. Basketball is truly a game based on size and athleticism. It’s the only pro sport where they find it ok to learn how to do the primary skill…SHOOTING….AFTER you make it to the pros. You cannot learn how to hit AFTER you make it to the major leagues. Wild.

When are the Warriors going to move on from Kerr - it is overdue.
@buzzerbeater33502 күн бұрын
I originally assumed you were joking. However, on the outside chance, you are dead ass Kerr has won 4 championships. He has earned a forever job if he wants it.
@sambeaumont3952 күн бұрын
@ 100% not joking. Kerr is failing the majority of the players in favour of a now outdated system. The team has and continues to be built on this system. His rotations and adjustments are lacking to say the least. Kerr is touted as this all time great coach, he came in to a very good team that was making strides under the previous coach as their young core developed. Kerr won CoY in 15-16 - but had Walton fill in for 43 games to start the season, where they went 39 and 4. Set a record for win streak to start a season (24). Kerr came back for the final 39 games going 34 and 5. Draymond (and others) coached against the Suns in 2018 - while the Suns had a really bad lineup it was a 46 point routing. Even without Klay, Curry (5 games played), Wiggins (12 games played) he couldn’t develop or integrate players, Draymond (43 games played) also couldnt be kept in check. Giving Kerr credit for the teams success to the point where he has job security for life (or until Curry leaves) is seriously overrating him. He is getting incredibly well paid as a coach @ $17.5m per (highest paid coach).

@sambeaumont395 The same thing happened to Phil Jackson in Chicago, Red Holtzman in NY and Chuck Daly in Detroit, and on and on it goes. That's how teams reward their championship coaches. Unless he decides to retire, gets into a big beef with Steph or does something detrimental to the organization, he's not going anywhere.
@Rich-cb6gp2 күн бұрын
@@sambeaumont395 0 chance Kerr goes anywhere after winning 4 chips, with the most recent only being a couple years ago. Curry/Dray probably want him there too or else he would have been gone by now
@sambeaumont3952 күн бұрын
@@buzzerbeater3350 Phil went into his final season with the Bulls as a 5 time champion, with the knowledge of win or lose he was gone, he won, it didn’t change anything he was still gone. I’m not familiar with Red Holzman, so cannot comment. But curious if he developed any players, adjusted the team play to counter aging players or help youth develop. Chuck Daly lasted two more seasons with the Pistons, hardly lifetime. Isiah, Joe, Mark, Dennis, and Bill all outlasted him.
