The Driveway is now a bicycle track with has 6 different courses. It is a great place to race.

Driveway Series in Austin Texas.

Looks like you let up and started getting passed. Everyone squeezed in and wheels started overlapping. If that little bit of meaningless "contact" almost took you out, take some tips from Tolley and work on upper body strength. I've seen more contact in middle school proms than that.....

Asking ChatGPT to Write a review about KZbinr Brian faure and his driveway cycling series lmao And this is what I got Brian Faure's Driveway Cycling Series on KZbin is a thrilling and unique concept that captivates cycling enthusiasts. With inventive use of limited space, Brian's videos offer exciting challenges and obstacles, simulating real-world cycling experiences. Highly recommended!

I hope your full video captures those in the field who actually had no place racing, like the gravel rider who nearly took out the field multiple times.
@collinshaughnessy4750 Жыл бұрын
Is the purpose of this video to promote the idea that intentional contact was made here? Or just pointing out that someone made incidental contact with you during a crit race...?
@BrianFaure Жыл бұрын
I think this contact was a bit too much. Sure we all bump some in crits...but maybe not this much.

I was the one wearing gold jersey. The homy with white jersey and white helmet was going run into curve. Instead of breaking he didn’t give a f.. and bumped me. I tried to find him afterwards but he disapeared. He knew.

Any chance you have visited the section of the South San Gabriel River between Ronald Reagan and 183 recently? The wastewater from Liberty Hill has ravaged the river with mats of green algae and stinky muck below Liberty Hills wastewater discharge 1 mile East of 183. It would be amazing to see drone footage of miles of green followed by clean and clear river above it.

Previously on another video there were comments on saying protect your back wheel. Noob question, How do you protect your back wheel?
@BrianFaure2 жыл бұрын
Protecting your rear is not easy....maybe use a sweeper (team mate behind you). after that speed will always protect your rear wheel...it keeps them from overlapping your rear. I have been hit from behind a few times (even had to do a free lap to change out my wheel) and survived without going completely down. If they hit your front....you are toast.
@jph12002 жыл бұрын
You are responsible for your front wheel. It's impossible to protect your rear wheel without having eyes in the back of your head.

Stressful just to watch let alone ride...after 4 years racing myself in my 20's, I tell people over and over and over. If you are going to risk your body/thousands ££££ of hardware for a gift voucher and plastic medal. For the love of god, just wear gloves. The guy who went down straight, palm first at 30mph, easy. Ouch.

Imagine not looking and taking out the leader for a series your not even gonna win...... will never understand weekend warriors and their crappy bike racing skills
@BrianFaure3 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean with your statement. The leader was the one that crashed into Bryan. He moved left without looking. Things happen in racing and you need to keep your head on a swivel.
@milesmacgregor69383 жыл бұрын
I thought I saw the exact opposite and bryan cut in front of the leader who was clearly holding pace and position at the front pulling. He would have had no reason to move suddenly to the right or left and if he did then he probably shouldn't be the race leader unless he's just that much stronger then everyone else in the race where he can flail about and still beat the whole pack....
@BrianFaure3 жыл бұрын
@@milesmacgregor6938 I don't think Bryan cut him off...the course moves to the left so the leader shifting right is not correct. We are all moving left to match the turn and the leader for some reason jumped right when Bryan was passing him on his right....if he is going to shift away from the turn he needs to look behind.
