I really do love this recording setup. I've experimented on my "private" channel with recording jam sessions in similar fashion, but I've been using my cheap iPhone with barely any storage space left to make quick videos. I've got a proper camcorder on the way and I plan to rig something up similar to what you've done here. That way I don't have to worry about how much I record and I can focus on playing. Thanks for the inspiration!

Yes, went the phone route myself, like you described, I ran into the same storage issues. Above I just used a cheap USB camera and OBS Studio to do the work. Plug-in-play and simple stupid. As soon as I hit stop on the recording, the mp4 file is automatically created and ready to go. You've got the right idea to make the recording hardware something you don't need to think about, and just focus on your creations. KZbinr "rheyne" (sort of) inspired my setup, perhaps his videos could further inspire yours?
