The KLR does very well on the Tail. I had a 2011 that was loads of fun there. 🐲🐲

But I learned it's better to get a better bike for that situation because I don't want to tear my hips out

My county sends out Sentence to Service crews with axes, shovels, chainsaws, and winches...it's actually quite rewarding work for them and beats sitting in a jail cell. I wish the entire country did that instead of relying on volunteers...

Bro! I think I can honestly say…..I have NEVER seen a KLR at durhamtown & you ripped that shit!

Rode it on my 520 EXC and Yammie WR250 2 stroke. There were some steep, slippery areas, I think when its cooler will try on my 1190r

I suggest you go to Wayenhutta over in Cullowhee, NC. Very similar and REALLY fun. It is a BIG challenge on an KITM 890 for sure. Yep I have great tires on mine so... Biggest problem I had were a couple of rock ledges with flat faces.

I have a 22 klr I wouldn't try that on mine you can do it better so I'll watch you. Keep up the careful riding

💯 Hardcore trails to take a 2t KTM and you did it on a KLR 👏 Subscribed

Hey man, I've watched a ton of KLR videos, but you make it look effortless. Kawasaki should totally sponsor you! You're like the KLR whisperer or something. 👏 👏 👏

Why would anyone carry panniers on a trail ride ???

This was a 3 day trip, so camping stuff food and clothing got stuffed into them.

I think they were planning this as Deliverance 2 but with a different ending...

Agree on your assessment. Went up there on a DRZ 400 with shitty stock Bridgestone "Death WIngs" tires when it was wet/muddy and almost couldn't get out! A couple of those steep, canyon sections were pretty tricky. Serious tires a MUST!

That feels like a safety feature on a dirt road too, nice upgrade. Trees aren't super forgiving whenever something happens

I bought my first KLR a couple months ago. I was completely blown away by its cornering ability. I toss it back and forth in the twisties beyond the speed limit and its easy and stable. No powering out of the corners obviously but it handles.

That's quite impressive to scrape pegs on a KLR! I am scared to lean mine that far lol
