I’m here because you were in my dream last night, Ruth! We were on the top floor of a what seemed like a tourist bus (with an open top) with a couple of other people (that you knew), and your parents (even though I have no idea what they look like) in the dream. I believe God was sending me to hear this message today, on Christmas Day. I’m so heartbroken to hear about your son and I will be praying for him to recover fully, physically and emotionally, from all that he has gone through! But, I’m glad to hear that you are going to be showing up on KZbin! I like to see people’s faces. :) I’m fairly new to your world after being introduced to you by a new Christian bookstore owner last year. You’ve already encouraged me so much through your beautiful heartfelt writing and words of deep wisdom. I thank God for bringing me back to this nourishing place after being in a pit for so long. I pray for your next journey, that it be filled with all the goodness that God has for you, all the support and help you need, and that God will grow your capacity so that you can move with ease as He calls you to new things! You have been such an inspiration and a beacon of light. May you receive all the grace you need as you start your new rebranded podcast! I’ll be rooting for you as I also return to projects I left by the wayside, inspired by your progress. Thank you for sharing your journey and reminding us that we are not alone in our struggles. May God heal your family and bless all of you as you enter the new year! ❤

All His promises are Yes and Amen 🙌🏻✝️💕. I have been proclaiming this verse for my life. I have a man club too. My youngest, who was born with a rare genetic disorder & wasn’t suppose to live past His first year of life, is now 23 yrs old! After he was born contending with numerous medical specialists I was involved with, I just kept praying that God would take him home and spare this baby of so much pain and suffering. Fast forward 23 yrs. I can’t imagine my life w/o him. His father left us 10 yrs ago. This time of being a somewhat “empty nester” with my older boys gone would be even harder. God has used my disabled son to teach me soooo… many valuable lessons. He uses “the least of these”. It’s all about the upside down Kingdom 👑. Only our Sovereign God brings beauty from ashes. Your book Pilgrim has blessed me so much! I have given it to many who are navigating through this hostile environment. Thank you for your obedience in walking in your purpose and gifting. I hope your son continues to heal. I know what it’s like to spend weeks on end in the hospital. Bless you sister 💕

RCS- "We BECOME what we BEHOLD". Thank you for that book - BEHOLD JESUS; HIS WORD and we will BECOME more like Him!! Praise the Lord! Thank you, Ruth, for your desire to teach us to walk the talk. May the Lord continue to bless you and yours.

I have seen this book in Mardel many times and hadn't picked it up. My wife and I are currently going through a challenging season as we are hoping and trusting God to make a way for us to become pregnant, even with the challenges that the doctors are wanting to speak over us. I look forward to seeing how to really embrace our "Now Season" even with the hopes and longing for the "Not Yet"

We women are feelers. If guys are feelers then women are feelers on steroids. But you know, we were Designed by God to be that way! Because we are the ones that take care of the physical needed of other people. We put bandaids on skinned knees and hearts! And maybe we have ladies that don’t feel that way yet, and that’s okay, because God lovingly grows us into the people He designed for us to be! You know…. Guys seem to get derailed by their own anger. And sometimes we as women get derailed by our own set of feelings. And I don’t know about you, but I find myself getting derailed by my husband’s anger. He done derailed himself and me. But I learned, finally to help him rein it in. Each time I admonish him to rein it in, is one time we didn’t get derailed. And it’s a time to see the beauty of who he is molding us to be. It’s like walking through a beautiful garden and smelling the flowers of the blessings there. And it is there we feel cared for.

This was so good, it reminded me of the struggles my son was facing in college and after college. The not yet. Thank you Caleb for your vulnerability. It was so helpful to me as a mom. May God continue to guide you.

I relate so much to Ruth and my husband is so similar to Troy. God is so gracious towards us when we put two very different saved sinners together and sanctify us side by side.

Reflecting on the hard questions, what do we have. God is investing in what we are doing right now. So powerful Troy. 😮

This video is so helpful. I love the transparency. Many Christian relationships in church circles are not open about what it looks like walking your faith out in your marriage.

Dear Ruth!!! As a momma of grown boys, i SO resonate with much of what you said! The transitions are hard and the expectations get too high. Such good reminders you gave us... thank you. And a rhythm with Jesus keeps us grounded, come what may. Bless you for sharing your heart! Sometimes I feel like no one else "gets it"... and I really needed to hear this today, to know that you too understand. 💜

I found this podcast so very encouraging. I jotted down the encouragement and will post it to remind me. Thank you. I am in a rather unique season, I think, at least among those I am around. My boys are adults (20 and 30) and still at home. I am grateful for where I do see God at work and I am hopeful for where I don't see and I am confident He will contine to work.

Thank you Ruth… from the other side of the world, from Italy (!) I thank you for your open heart bringing me back to God’s word and accepting again(!) - “take MY. yoke”- the limits He has {kindly, gently} set for me with physical and cognitive weaknesses yet safe with Him because HIS yoke leads in the right direction, His direction and with Him I find rest for my soul. Thank you Jesus for Ruth and thank you for the care you have for a true need… Annette x

Hi Ruth!!!! I just wanted to let you know that I discovered your beautiful art and books at Barnes & Noble for the very first time this weekend!!! I was amazed at your art, and how so beautifully created to show the goodness and glory of God! My husband showed it to me and I fell in love! I have your book, beholding and becoming, I just got it yesterday! I’ve also ordered when striving ceases and eager to start reading. God has used your art to really speak to my heart and inspire me! The word of God is everything to me and I love how it is so beautifully incorporated, in every single thing that you do and create! Just wanted to encourage you and let you know that I really appreciate your art!!!-Jess
