The actual reality is that any Linux distro is a painful process and wine and or play on linux does not fully address the issues. If you get office installed it will throw another problem and after that and weeks of trying you eventually accept the fact that you need a dual boot of windows along with Linux. Only patient people who are up for a challenge can take on Linux.

I installed MS office 32bit 2016, but when i open presentation in PowerPoint all the slides are completely white, and when I'm presentation mode (F5) all the slides are completely black. "Disable hardware graphics acceleration" didn't help me. Could someone help me to solve this problem, please?

I dont know why.. but the appimage won’t allow me to log in to curseforge and auto scan doesnt work.. But with the curseforge .deb file log in works and autoscan games work perfectly!! (Works on debian based like ubuntu, mint, popos etc etc)

Try and delete installer and download it again. Than set up executable again. Are you longed in as root or as user? Maybe you don't have permission to make file executable?

@ yeah if I make it an executable and try to open it nothing happens but when I uncheck the (make this file executable) it opens but then crashes

Try uninstalling play on linux first by typing in terminal: sudo apt-get purge --autoremove playonlinux After that type in terminal: sudo apt update after that type: sudo apt install playonlinux It should be installed Please let me know ifi t works.

It might be something with allowing how much ram minecraft uses. Did u try allowing game to use more ram? Do you have enaugh ram memory in first place?

Did you by any chance try installing 64 bit version of office? Because it only works with 32bit version.

@@kulonone3374 The only link i provided is for free WPS office, this installer wont work with play on Linux. If you want to install Free WPS office, you need to download their official Linux installer form their website. But be aware this is not Microsoft office product.

Sorry for late reply. Did you find a fix? Could you share what distro you run, and what version of Lutris you use. It is known that a recent Lutris version has a bug that gives that code. You might wanna try and use older version of Lutris.

besides a tip for you my guy, if you don't know how to do something on ubuntu, you should switch to linux mint, im not being mean, its just way more user friendly, and you will find yourself with way less errors and going to the console, and if gnome is weird for you (i mean using the start screen and swiching between monitors) cinnamon is really windows-like and its realy comfortable to use

It ask you if it makes desktop shortcuts. Open PlayOnLinux and you should see all installed programs.
