yeah its a pretty good place and there would have been 6 people in there, 2 doors up there is an Italian cafe that was half full and the food is crap

you can say that about every house in the world is on the ground that some animal once was living on. This land is next to the reservoir so they are there because there is a constant source of water.

Wherever there's feed and water is the correct answer. You don’t bother the boomers. They'll puck you up while their flyers and joeys hop lazily away a short distance if you try to.

Wow. Very close to the homes. Follow-up: Do they ever wander around the houses and yards, or do they tend to keep a wide berth?

where I took the video there is a fence between where they are and the road but I have seen them on the road. You will find kangaroos on golf courses sometimes and they can get close to houses.

It's really good. They are Malaysian but do really good European food too, although its not their specialty there. They do an Unagi Rice bowl that is 10/10

I loved them in Vietnam and they were more basic there. But I think I preferred the local version to the Australian restaurant version.

I went to Halong Bay but the weather was bad and all the cruises were cancelled so we went back to Hanoi. Reminds me of Southern Thailand.

Hi, I really like Da Nang and Hoi An. I spent about 3 months there about 7-8 years ago I loved it in their rainy season. But if you go there in July it is apparently unbearably hot. Glad to see you are heading back.

@@davidcronk64 8 years and before would have been the best time to travel Vietnam/Cambodia, now Chinese have moved in its like any other country and has lost its appeal of nomadic travel, Laos was still good last time I was in that area and Luang Prabang amazing but like other SE Asia countries I'm sure its slowly changing.

That's not good. We are both in the wars I damaged some ankle ligaments 2 weeks ago slipping on some wet pavers and haven't walked for 2 weeks. My trip to Halong Bay was a bit of a disaster too because of the weather.

@@davidcronk64 VERY disappointed in Halong/Lan Ha Bays. Overcrowded, to say the least. Should've just done a day cruise and not a 3D/2N expensive fiasco.
