Great question and video! We collect primarily to PLAY the games, and secondly, to preserve a piece of history. Collecting what we want to play is important to us, not to buy stuff to look good on a shelf and put it on Instagram (although it's obviously nice to display our games in the game room). We play and collect for all consoles so there's no war in our household :) Even PC is represented. Also, we'll definitely be checking out Cat Quest III !

Both NHL Hitz 2003, and NFL Blitz 2003 are awesome games. I'm glad you have them in your collection. It's a shame those series died out years ago. Thank you, the Xbox 360 is my 2nd favorite console of all-time. It has an amazing library of titles to play, and that's one of the reasons why my collection is so large. lol...I am probably only a few hundred games away from a complete North American Xbox 360 set, but I purged out all of the Sports games, and unwanted Xbox 360 titles from my set back in August of 2022. I appreciate you checking out my updated Xbox 360 collection video.

It will be a few years before I can film updated PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 collection videos. Most of PlayStation 2 collection is sadly in storage and I do have a majority of my PlayStation 3 collection with me, but a few titles are in storage somewhere.

Hey Sleepy, today is a sad for me, this morning while I was installing WWE 2k24 through my external hard drive and it fell down from my PC and now my external hard drive doesn't work. :( I have to ask my brother-in-law for help because he works with Computers and hopefully he can save it.

Hello Miguel. Sorry to hear about your HDD falling down and not working. I had an HDD that failed a few years ago and I had to use powerful and expensive Data Recovery software, but I was able to get all of the data from the drive, and I transferred it to a new HDD. I hope you're brother-in-law is able to assist you with the HDD. I appreciate you checking out another one of my weekly gaming playlist episodes.

I'm glad to hear things are going better with your father and that he is out of the hospital. I hope his further recovery will go well. Stranglehold looks pretty bad ass. I love the Max Payne 'slow down time' effect. It's also cool you can use stuff around the game world to kill enemies. Looking at the gameplay reminds me a bit of Sleeping Dogs. Also a great game. I just finished Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway this week and had a blast playing it. Especially the fact that everything takes place in my own country was a nice aspect. There aren't many games that take place in the Netherlands. I'm now playing Trepang2 on Series X, a first person shooter. It plays much like the FEAR games only without the horror elements, at least until now. Thanks for the weekly vlog Jeremy and take care buddy.

Thank you my friend. My mother called today and said that my Father will be in the rehab center for another week or two. I know my mom can't wait to have my father home again. Stranglehold is an awesome game. It's an over the top action packed thrill ride. I really enjoyed playing it again after all of these years. I do love Sleeping Dogs as well, I own it on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Congrats on completing Brother's In Arms: Hell's Highway. That's pretty sweet that it takes place in your homeland of the Netherlands. I've heard of that Trepang 2 but I've never played it, or watched any gameplay yet. It looks awesome on the Series X. Chow Yung Fat character model is rough but the gameplay is straight out of a John Woo movie with the destructable emvironments and over the top action sequences.

Stranglehold looks pretty good for an old 2007 Xbox 360 title. I would agree that Chow Yung Fat's character model is a little rough but it doesn't ruin the experience. Playing this game is exactly like being in a John Woo film. I love the destructible environments, and the over the top action sequences. It just adds to the games charm. Stranglehold is definitely an awesome game. I haven't thought about it in many years but I redownloaded the Demo this week and it made we want to play it again. I got the Collector's edition for a really good price at a local thrift store years ago. I also own the Hard Boiled DVD and loved the film. Hello. Sometimes it's best to just stick to collecting the games that you truly want to play and own in your collection. I sold off over 1000 unwanted games from my collection in 2022. I'm pretty happy and content with the collection that I've built up over the years, and I'm pretty much done with collecting myself. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I'm glad that you enjoyed the 3rd episode in my Sleepy's Essential Xbox 360 Game Recommendations series. It's really hard to talk about a game and not show some gameplay for everyone. You really don't get the full experience without actually seeing some gameplay. I like to share my thoughts and opinions on the games that I recommend. I want to explain what I enjoy about these games and why I recommend other people should add them to their collections. That's sweet that they included the Hardboiled movie on PlayStation 3 version of Stranglehold. I had a lot of fun playing through this one again after all of these years. It's definitely got that 7th gen feel to it, and we would never receive a game like this in 9th gen these days, unless it was a small AA studio. Mafia 2 Limited Edition is a great version to own. That bonus disc is amazing because it contains all of the DLC on the second disc. It is interesting to hear about your passion towards Xbox 360. I do remember the beginning of 2005 when some screenshots of ghost recon surfaced - I was astonished by the graphics. I was able to buy it only in 2009. It was equal to my monthly wage. As for now, l still want to buy series X but decided to postpone it until pay up my mortgage before time (next spring is the end). I have not bought any games during this year - just began playing games more on Xbox one. Look forward to your next video.

I'm glad that you enjoyed my latest vlog. I was very hyped for the Xbox 360 when it was announced. It was crazy to think how many people I knew locally that weren't very excited for it's launch. They weren't big fans of the Original Xbox, so they had very little faith in the new console. I'm just glad that they console became Microsoft's most popular and successful console of all-time. It's just a shame that they couldn't keep the momentum going with the Xbox One. That console is what has started their downfall, and it's sadly continuing to this day. I knew a lot of people had to wait a few years to buy the Xbox 360 console because of the shortages and scalpers. It was also a pricey console at launch in 2005, so I don't blame you on waiting to get it until you had more money. The Xbox Series X is cool but it's also expensive. Paying on your Mortgage is definitely the better choice. The Xbox Series X consoles aren't going anywhere. Glad to hear you're playing games on your Xbox One. It’s admirable to hear how you have followed and achieved your collection goals until now. It made sense to focus on Xbox 360 this year, with the online store closing and prices gradually going up. And besides that, as you mentioned, it’s a great system with a great games library. Just like you i have a lot of nostalgia for the Xbox 360 and that time in gaming in general. Your advice to perserve games onto multiple hard drives and having multiple backup systems are very valid and useful. You can’t depend on the whims of these companies. The amount of Xbox 360 games you now have is amazing buddy! It’s interesting to see the difference in games the came out for the 360 and PS3 and the current generation. Sure even now great games come out every month but it’s just not the same. I guess the big difference is the diversity. During the 360 / PS3 generation so many different games in different genres came out that there was something for everyone. Not to mention the whole Xbox Live universe, with online gaming with friend and all the arcade games that were being released. Thank you my friend. I've been trying to stick to the goals I set in the beginning of the year. It's assisted me with staying focused on what's important to me with regards to my gaming and collecting. I'm so glad I stuck to my goals with the Xbox 360, as it allowed me to add some great games, physically and digitally to my collection. I also snagged some great DLC for my favorite titles. The Xbox 360 is an incredible console, and I will miss the marketplace for sure. I do hope people listen to my advice and back up their stuff. You can't depend on a company to do it for you, and Microsoft has proven they don't really care about us as gamers. It's nuts having over 700 games for the Xbox 360, I plan to film an updated Xbox 360 collection video towards the end of the year. 9th gen gaming is just not as awesome as 7th gen gaming was with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Studios were allowed to try out new things, but these days, the Corporate big wigs don't want to take chances like they did in the past. Im jealous of those vintage Mario Bros Plushies. Im getting quite a few plushies now myself (mostly not game related though). I always seem to find some weird mascot or animal at thrift stores and end up buying it. Im looking for a squirrel and red squirrel ones atm but no luck.

I love those Vintage Mario & Luigi Plushies. I've wanted them for many years now and I was finally able to snag them for a good price. I have a lot of gaming Plushies in my collection...way too many actually lol. I do love weird looking Plushies, that orange cat was a random buy at a thrift store. I have no idea what the character is suppose to be, he just looked cool, and I wanted to have him sit on my gaming wall. Squirrels are cool, I hope you can find one soon. I spent June beating Cyberpunk 2077 and July beating Hogwarts Legacy. Both of those games made me feel like i was playing on aging hardware on my Xbox One X. Hogwarts Legacy was particularly bad with brutal load times. I'm kind of funny because i dont think of absolute power playing games. To me i like to think of consoles to something akin to weight devisions in boxing. It's interesting to see how developers get games to perform given hardware constraints (i.e. the weight divisions) and how they perform against other consoles in the same generation. So I actually enjoy that some games like Horizon Forbidden West and GOW Ragnarok are also on PS4 because ill play them there first.

I need to beat Cyberpunk 2077 at some point in my life. I bought my wife Hogwarts Legacy but she hasn't played it much yet. I have yet to even try it out at this point. Yeah, the Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X are definitely going to show their age in 2024. Microsoft needs to just focus on 9th gen Xbox Series X only and let the 8th gen die. It's really the only way we will get some new killer games that will push the Xbox Series X to it's limits. Sucks to hear of the load times for Hogwarts Legacy. I do love seeing developers overcoming obstacles that they encounter with the limitations they have with creating games on consoles. It's lead to some real innovations in the gaming industry and those limitations have led to some incredible games. Silent Hill on the PS1 got it's iconic fog because of the limited draw distance of the PlayStation 1 hardware. That limitation led to the series having a very interesting foggy world to explore. It added to he horror and easiness the player feels while exploring in Silent Hill. You just never knew what you might find walking around with you in that fog. I would like to check out that God of War Ragnarok in the future.

I don't remember what my 2024 gaming goals were. I have purchased the least amount of video games in the last 6 months than i have in 10ish years of collecting. The deals are fewer at least for me because of the Xbox 360 price surge. I used to purchase tons of 360 games over the years because they were interesting and cheap. Now that the Xbox 360 store closing catalyzed the market for used 360 games what few i had left to get are now out of reach. Which im honestly fine with as i also missed the 360 store closing. Life is going to have some disappointment but im still happy. I think the last 360 game i bought was in December and it was Dark for $8 CAD.

I like to film my gaming goals for the year and then write them down. It helps me to stay focused on what I want to accomplish for the year. Deals are definitely getting harder and harder to score these days. Xbox 360 games have gone to crazy land for some of the heavy hitters, but I'm just glad that there are still a lot of cheap common titles to play. Sucks to hear some of the games you want are out of reach. I will just say to be patient, as you never know what you might find in the future. I definitely see Xbox 360 titles dropping in value over the next 5 to 10 years as people move on to Xbox One/PlayStation 4 games. I happened to log onto the Xbox 360 marketplace and witnessed it shut down. It was a real shame, as I loved that store. I'm just glad that I've owned and played Xbox 360 games since launch night of November 22nd 2005. So many wonderful memories with the console. I plan to film a memories of Xbox 360 video later in the year. Life does have it's ups and downs. That Dark game has gone through the roof, so you scored an incredible deal for $8 CAD. Are you able to get the Xbox 360 achievements with being connected to Xbox live? And does that work with trophies on playstation 3 with being connected to pay network

Xbox 360 Achievements will still unlock if you're offline. It just will not save the date of when you earned it though. Once you connect to Xbox Live, it will update your achievement score that's archived online. The PlayStation 3 trophies are just like Xbox Achievements, you can earn them offline and when you connect to the online service, it will update your profile just like on Xbox. Hey Sleepy, so I sent an e-mail asking why my Dragon Quest Builders 2 was taking forever to arrive and today they replied to me telling me that my package got damaged while transporting (yeah right) and now I have two wait another 2 weeks for another package.

Hello Miguel my friend. Sorry to hear it's taking so long to receive your copy of Dragon Quest Builders 2. I'm just glad that at least responded to you and are willing to ship another copy out. They could have just ghosted you and never replied. I've had a few packages get lost in the mail over the years, but I've always been issued a refund, or another copy. It's rare to happen, but some packages do get damaged in transit, as the couriers, really do beat the hell out of the boxes and packages they handle. I bought a few games before the store closed. Choplifter HD, Microbot, Burnout Crash and Yars Revenge all for $5. Choplifter was $2.50 and Burnout was only $.50. the others were $1 ea. I was really hoping there would be more games on deep discount but it is what it is.... the end of an era. As for network connectivity... I use ethernet hooked to one of my Deco mesh units and it works great. The one thing about the 360 recently that irks me is the change from my MS password to a passkey because the 360 no longer supports direct MS account access when you switch to 2 factor authentication. So i had to create a new passkey in order to log in to the 360 store before it closed.

They had some incredible deals on the Xbox 360 marketplace before it closed. You got a great deal on those digital titles. I bought that Burnout game for $0.50, I thought how bad could it be for that price? Yeah, I was hoping for more games to be on sale and to have DLC on sale, those little poop heads didn't discount enough stuff lol. Definitely an end of an era in gaming for me. Glad to hear that your internet works well with your Xbox 360. That was definitely an annoying change for logging onto the Xbox servers. I was just permanent ban for no reason on all 3 of my Xbox accounts and I don't even have an Xbox

That's horrible news. Sorry to hear that they banned your accounts. I've heard of other people mentioning that there's been a glitch with Xbox accounts that's banning accounts for no reason. You will have to call up Microsoft's customer support to see if they can get your accounts unbanned, but sadly there's no guarantee they will actually assist you. Some people have mentioned they got their accounts back, but others have stated they were out of luck, and told to create a new Xbox account. I hope you're able to get it straightened out.

It would have been interesting to see what Duke Nukem Forever would have been like if they had released it in the late 90's or early 2000's. It's still crazy that it took 14 years to get released. I appreciate you checking out my newest episode in my weekly gaming playlist series.

Thank you for checking out my latest episode in my weekly gaming playlist series. I really appreciate the suggestions. I own both of those Lego Star Wars games. I really enjoyed both of them and beat them both back in the day. I loved the mumble voices and the silly humor that they added to the games. It really adds to the charm of the Lego series. Lego Star Wars 2 The Original Trilogy was the first Lego game I played on my Xbox 360. I bought The Lego Star Wars The complete Saga when it launched. I loved that it included all of the levels from the first two Lego Star Wars games. I even have the Lego Star Wars 3 The Clone Wars and I actually shared that in a few episodes this year in this series. That is another fun Lego Star Wars games. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for the Xbox 360, as I'm always looking for good games to play.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of my PlayStation 2 collection is in storage currently, so I will have to wait until I move to a new place with a larger Gameroom to unpack all of them for a proper updated PlayStation 2 collection video.
