Great Vid. I have played this piece for many years but have not really analysed the piece thoroughly. Always fascinating what Bach does with camp fire chords!.

I was under the impression this technique did not use the pinky, am i wrong?

You are correct, but practising with the pinky helps strengthen the outer side of the hand, which helps tremolo, and this is what the video is about.

Thank you! It is by Karl-Heinz Roemmich (2011). Spruce/Rosewood, traditional Spanish design. This clip doesn't give a great idea, as the sound is actually just the camera mic (which was up on a balcony far away in a very dry theatrical hall). Now, Sergio Assad needs to write a piece for you! Also, if you like regondi, check out Marco Aurelio Zani de Ferranti. He was more famous than Regondi and Coste, but is largely forgotten today. Mostly theme and variations, but some great compositions and a very distinct composition voice.

Thank you. The music was intense. I felt carried through their years together. Each period having the joy of remembrance and the agony of loss in different ratios. I was waiting and hoping for that final delicate acceptance, that comes only with passing of time. How beautifully you led us to it at the conclusion. In short it was amazing.
