Olly has ADHD and struggles in social situations like that. Especially when being put on the spot. It turns to fight or flight. I've been in that situation and at the end of the day it's no one's business but Olly and Demi. He shouldn't have to justify anything to anyone. Demi should be secure in herself as a person and not rely upon Olly to be happy. We are our own people and putting your happiness onto someone else isn't very fair. After the show ended, Serena did say that the producers told her the game is to stay if you’re closed off (officially as a couple), not if you’d like to stay in your couple which makes more sense

I didn't like that Serena twisted either, it's definitely the editing trying to portray her a certain way (they already said the producers told her to only stick if she was 100% closed off and done meeting people while telling Kordell the opposite) but some of her takes towards Serena and Jana specifically are very weird. Like the fact that she has NO energy towards Rob or Connor for doing the exact same things is very telling.

Remember nothing has to be perfect. Just because you’re putting a lot of effort and money into this doesn’t mean it’s a get it right the first time deal.
