Christine…we did it!!! Me and my Mrs quit caffeine! 😎 Tuesday morning was our last drink. Since then we’ve both had the same withdrawals but on different days - we have been fasting too which weirdly I think may have helped fast track it out of our systems. Right now, whilst less than a week in, I already feel much more level energy wise. Thanks for putting the idea in my head 😊

Oh wow that's so cool! Well done, I must say I feel very nice generally, just all round goodness, lovely stable energy and sleep mostly, my skin has gone very bad the last couple of weeks but maybe it's a detox reaction or healing re-balancing or something. I hope you get through the first couple of weeks 🙏 it's easy to find great alternatives like smoothies, hot drinks, juice bars, decaf etc

Brilliant stuff, Christine. Can you tell me how you’re getting on with the no caffeine thing - I’m really interested to know how you’re feeling/if you miss it? Me and my Mrs do a morning walk every day about 4:30am and the coffee when we get back is something we really look forward to. Though I know the caffeine is bad for me, I would really struggle to give it up!! 😂😖

I love your vids, they make me feel so peaceful. I’ve added the Taste Cumbria fest to the ‘must visit’ list for me and the Mrs! We are only in Yorkshire, so the lakes isn’t far. I normally stay in Bowness, and want to explore a bit further afield 🤓

I quit alcohol years ago…but I’m too scared to quit the caffeine still 🤣🤣 think I’ll give it a try after hearing about your experiences - well done 👏🏻

@@jamesgriffiths3265 🤓 well done for quitting alcohol I don't know many people who can go more than 2 days without it so that's amazing. If you quit caffeine I'd recommend doing it when you've got a few days off work or not much work to do so you can sleep until your body adapts! 🤞👍

@@Christine_Lawson wise words, for sure 👌🏼 Scary isn’t it, how you become so reliant on it. The alcohol is a weird one; even though it is seen as a ‘more powerful’ substance, I think caffeine does more for me than it ever did…which is why it’ll be so bloody hard to cut it out!! 😂
