Huh? The first person I began following happen to be a performer for Tokyo Disney, universal Singapore and Japan from Australia living in Japan. She’s lived in Tokyo, but has since moved to Kyoto. She’s done hikes all over each region, taking incredible drone shots of the places she been to. Then there was this couple that rented a van to try their trip in a van, but to their regret didn’t care for the size of their vehicle. They were very disappointed in the size of the rental from what they were used to in the UK. I think it was smaller than what you got. So they were not fun to follow, which I didn’t. Your van life should have a disclaimer saying just visiting. Because you have not moved your whole life into this vehicle. It’s only good for camping in areas for short periods, and not for living your entire life in it through the changes of each season, or dealing with various environmental conditions, and of course vehicle break downs out in the wilderness. But that vehicle will make it challenging no matter how long it’s for. That Aussie girl bought an American vehicle and converted it to meet her needs out on the road dealing with the places she visits for any situation. I had followed a girl traveling the across the US while living in a Prius. Then adopted a dog, and after 3 years moved up into a sprinter van. Which is the reason I see you as a wannabe, or a dabbler. Then there’s this girl from Poland. She’s solo traveled the entire Asian and European continent, the shipped her rig to Mexico and the traveled all through the US. She’s looking to settle somewhere in the US. She built up her rig from a simple conversation vehicle into a loaded rig with the bells and whistles to live in any condition in an geographic location. She’s an amazing stud. These are women who live the van life.

I’m happy you’ve enjoyed watching these various creators! I also used to work at Tokyo Disney as a performer and lived there for a myriad of years- so I know who you’re talking about :) I would agree that im dabbling because I’ve never tried it before and would prefer to see what it’s like before I invest thousands of dollars/change my lifestyle 😅 but nonetheless “I tried van life” hence the title ✌️

It's funny how if any guy offers a girl to live in a tiny, that girl will hightail it. Is tiny living really appealing?

Good onya Ally. Take it on the road. The van looks small for your BF. I think his feet will hang out while he is sleeping. Does the van transform into a caravan like a transformer?

Love the video, but 5 1/2 hours in a car is barely a road trip in America. That barely gets me into California from nw Oregon. Don't even know if that would get me through Virginia starting in the southern neighbor of North Carolina. I would routinely drive 16 hours to go visit people in northern Ohio or New England from NC. I also drove my stuff home from NC to Portland Oregon via the South because of a big ice storm so, that added at least 15 hours to drive time. It was 88 hours and I only slept for about 10 of those
