@ARandomeNope . Yes You can. HERE'S A QUICK EXPLANATION USING A FREE SHAPE. 1. Add the object you want to mask. 2. MAKE THAT OBJECT A SPRITE. 3.Double click on your sprite. 4.make the free shape around what you want to mask out. 5.Make sure you set the brush color to black. 6 change the objects layer to inverted mask. (Or mask) It depends what you want removed..foreground or background. ***important NOT THE SPRITE*** 7. NOW go back to the main timeline single click on your sprite. GO TO PROPERTIES CHANGE USE AS CONTAINER TO **NO** 8.NOW ADD anything underneath of it in your main timelin. It won't be affected. I'll try to make a video soon.Thanks for the question.

Hello and thanks for the nice comment. Yes , that's right.you can just copy and paste the objects in a sprite and then delete the sprite. **BUT BE CAREFUL ** When you copy and and paste sometimes the copied objects will retain the properties that they had while inside Of the sprite. So you may just want to just get the original objects from the resources window or from file explorer .☝ Thanks again and Happy editing!!!

#1 Out of sync videos are most often caused by mixing frame rates. Example project frame rate 24 frames per second and video frame 30 frames per second. OR Using 2 videos in 1 project with different frame rates. 2 BUT It seems like you're saying it's because your objects moved. If that's case. HERE'S WHAT I WOULD DO. 1.Find out the frame rate of my original video. Remember it then export it. 2. Record my intro at the same frame rate as the original video. 3.Then bring the original video back into the project with the intro. THEN export. I'm thinking that's the best solution rather than trying to change properties for ALL of your objects or remaking your whole project. Let me know how it worked. Also Please let me know if it didn't. There are other ways too. ........... I don't know how many objects you have in your project.. so changing the properties for all of the objects might be too much.

It's because it's a object based program. You just have to remember to make sure the properties are set correctly for your objects.

IF you're using the free version of Vsdc you won't be able to export it with the mask. However you can use any screen capture software to do it.. I would recommend OBS studio. VSDC screen capture will work but I think OBS is better.

Oh yeah. Vsdc does a lot. Trick is knowing how to use it . A lot of functions aren't easily found.( The interface isn't necessarily user friendly but the program is really powerful once you know where things are and what you can do with them

Sorry sir , I really don't know. Vlc plays all my stuff on my laptop and on my phone with no problem. Sometimes though I'll use Media Player Classic on my laptop. But I will see what I can find out for you.

Hello javablues. I found a article on the website below. explaining that Windows may have problems playing .mov files made with the old Apple codec. I'm not saying that this is what your problem is but it's possible. If you're still having the problem try exporting it to .avi. Since the project doesn't depend on it being exported with transparency it should play alright in almost any format . www.movavi.com/learning-portal/vlc-convert-mov-to-mp4.html.

Inverted mask is a premium feature in VSDC. Vsdc free version allows you to use the premium features of VSDC pro version while making your projects but you will not be able to export the project with those effects. Here are two other ways to do it....1. Use source in . (I'm currently working on my Source composition mode videos.) They'll be up soon. 2.Or you can Play your project and use VSDC screen Recorder to record your project .You can use whatever screen capture software you choose..3. or buy VSDC pro to get the premium features ...including inverted mask. Cost is something like $20 U.S.

I tried Capcut but VSDC is my 1st love when it comes to video editors.I started with VSDC making a Valentines Day slideshow for my wife and have used it ever since. I do have Capcut desktop and DaVinci Resolve full but rarely use either because I've got a pretty good feel of VSDC.
