Batman cannot exist without joker. He never kills because if he kills joker the chase ends. Everything he fights for. Everyone and everything he protects, wouldn’t feel the same without the joker. There’d be no point. As much as he hates him, he wouldn’t be anything without him. Rick and Morty perfectly matches that with Rick prime. The entire show, Rick chases Rick prime, and in season 7, he kills him. But instead of feeling good, he feels empty. The chase for Rick prime was the fun. Every step forward, every step back, every progression, every fail, just keeps the clock ticking, keeping Rick excited. 🌸

Rust is the realest "broken character", he doesnt have a romance on the show, and is constantly depressed, expect for the ending where he has a moment
