Mana player #23 straight-up blocked (NO FOUL! HORRIBLE CALL!! WATCH AT 25% SPEED) @ 45:59 this call altered the status of this game with only 1:07 left Iron Hoops leading 39 to 38. THIS CALL FORCED A TIE AND OVERTIME. With 14 seconds left in the first overtime (Iron Hoops leading 44 to 39) Iron Hoops coach calls a timeout his first one of the overtime (allowed 1 timeout per overtime segment per tournament rules) he is given a technical for calling the timeout (this was an incorrect call and when it was notified to the officials they did not alter the call). This allowed #34 to shoot 2 for Mana and made both (the player should have never been sent to the line, error on officials and staff). Then the ball possession switches to Mana?! AND at the half-court?!?! (assuming in addition to the improper tech call?) Because they get the incorrect possession and placement, Mana is then able to add 2 points off of this and ties at 44 forcing double overtime. Side note; At the tip-off for the second overtime Mana jumper #3 doesn't make a tip-off attempt and intercepts the tip ball? (This happened earlier in the game on other tips as well? Is this legal?) One ref thinks it is illegal and calls it but only after the other official doing the tip-off either doesn't recognize it, doesn't know the rule, or simply doesn't care. In the double over-time, Iron Hoops is playing for an end-of-time total score win and is unaware of the "first to score wins in double overtime" rule. Was this explained at all to the teams by the officials before the start of the double overtime? Watch at 25% speed of the Iron Hoops Players @ 59:05 they are ready for the next possession off of inbound once the Mana shot is made. Both teams went 3-1 in this tournament and Mana took the tournament victory because of their errored win over Iron Hoops. As I, and others will see thanks to you posting this game footage, this game should have been an Iron Hoops win and was unjustly stripped from them. Iron Hoops goes 4-0 and Mana 2-2 Iron Hoops takes the tournament. Thank you for posting this.

NICE SETUP! i see some games are recorded with a 360 camera and some are recording on a standard camera with i think a pivo that panes the camera left and right? which do you like better? this is the best looking 360 camera quality I've seen. which camera is it? any negatives about it?

Hi, thanks for the kind words! I use an Insta360 One X2 on a 7ft light stand recording in like 5.2k 30p. I need to get a better 360 video editor but for now I’m just using the Insta360 app on macOS, it works fine. Below the 360 cam, I have a DJI pocket recoding the championship game in 4k 60p. I have the pivo pod and it’s nice because it’s easy to setup with the tripod and your phone, less stuff to bring. But when we have to record two games at the same time on opposite courts, nothing beats a 360 camera. I have a GoPro Max but it does shorter 360 clips and there’s a delay in between recordings I think. The Insta360 records like 29-30 minute clips at a time and there isn’t a break between multiple videos recordings. Hope that answers your question

I thought for sure you were recording with the new insta360 x3. makes me want to buy the x3 even more now. do you ever use the insta360 in single lens mode? when using the pivo pod do you have to watch the camera when panning left and right or do you watch the game and just kind of get a feel for how long to push the button on the remote? i have a daughter and son that play for the frohlich academy and we were at these tourneys. so it was nice to see recordings from all the gyms we go to and with the setups I'm looking into. thanks for your time.

@@joshsmith6888 I have yet to really use the insta360 in single lens mode. I’d rather have all 360 and frame from there rather than only have the one lens footage. The Pivo Pod is great but I do have to look at where the phone is pointed when using the remote, I wish you could set limits (I guess you should setup something like straws on the side of the pod as a jury-rigged stopping point when the phone hits it).

Not that you may care but me and my husband to be just found this video. We joked about if there were any videos of him when he worked at lego land in 2009, and low and behold, hes at 2:59. He got such a kick out of seeing himself when he was younger. I know its not the point of your video but non the less, thanks for the upload and memory of the past.
