It's not about the tempo. Jay lacked the groove to play corey's drumparts, that's why he tend to speed up everything thinking that way sounds more energic, but was totally the opposite (not even counting he was sloppy at faster speeds). Slipknot isn't about that there are tons of bands way faster and brutal.

I feel in love with metal as a kid because I loved how the drums sounded. That being said when I was like 10 I found psychosocial On Demand in 08 and I was hooked ever since. This dude eloy brought this band up a level like no fucken lie it feels right. I love this band from its MFKR days and to its future
