@borisdodgingbullets5 күн бұрын
That happened in an exhibition game. MJ gave Pip 52.
@cristiancandru86104 күн бұрын
Pip had big problems with explosive players, so I don't think Mike would have had any problems against him. Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway and Nique used to give Pip big numbers. While Pip was a good on-ball defender, he was truly elite at help defense.

good try clown. All playoff paces slow down to a half court game
@ReverseFlash23Ай бұрын
It’s all play styles for each era. More half court offenses made the games slower leading to lower scoring, more back-to-the-basket type play, etc. Rules changed drastically as these players evolved from their youth (a lot of them were playing HS ball without a 3pt line) Drop them into today’s game and coaches would simply tell them to shoot more 3’s, etc. These players had talent, they just showcased them in different styles that are not familiar with most play styles now. Nothing wrong with that. Penny Hardaway would be a great player. Dennis Scott, Toni Kukoc, Steve Kerr would be raining 3’s. Shaq, MJ, Pippen, and those guys would do just fine.

Jordan: I really believe Jordan got tired of playing these fools -- he knew the Knicks were a stupid team that would always make the wrong choices: they'd foul too many times, wouldn't make the extra pass, all Chicago had to do was put on that trap and the Knicks would fall apart, take quick shots, go away from Ewing ... it was worse in '93 than in '92 because they lost X-Man to free agency and let Rolando Blackman rot on the bench for Starks? Stop it. Riley was a joke of a coach; Jordan was gaming these fools and even though he had an inferior team, Jordan hang-joked all that cocaine off that tree in New York .... I have never seen a 23 just ice a team like Jordan did to the Knicks -- it was so cold, he had the Knicks thinking they had a shot only to sweep them after lipping them two games. Sad and sick with a twist of soda at the same time, no bacon but baking. Pure prime, Mike all the time, couldn't pay Ewing a dime to get his wine. I just laugh when I watch those Knicks play, it's a turnover waiting to happen and a team beating themselves and I was like, 'Is this seriously competition for Mike?' Jordan's Comp: I mean if anyone knows, Mike had greater competition learning how to win than upon winning facing his friend Ewing/Oakley and a former CBA guard in Starks with a second year player Gregg Anthony and then Doc Rivers was never a threat and Mark Jackson loved #23 and Mason was with Denver and Riley didn't put him in the game often because he could really break a train, I loved Mason's game, he was the best kept secret -- could handle, rebound, run the floor, had hustle, great defensively to guard 2-3 positions, and just never got his shot to shine because Riley was too rigid trying to put in his own grate .... Same Riley crazy in Miami got that team losing held back his own success in NY by not playing Blackman and Mason. Sad.
