Has the City started building the new Fire Station yet? I know we received the Southern Railway check for $1.6 billion dollars. Particular we need a new Fire house for the Fire men and women housed at Montgomery and Langdon Farm Roads. 🙏🧯🚒🧑🚒🙏

Any updates on cincinnati apparatus?
@CincinnatiFireApparatus8 ай бұрын
There are a bunch of new apparatus coming soon, 4 E-One engines and 2 E-One ladders are due in the next 6 months or so. Also, at least one new Horton ambulance is due in shortly.
@911chap038 ай бұрын
Good color on the ambulance. Reminds me of the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital ambulances in orange as well. Is Louisville getting new ambulances in orange nowadays? Because Cincinnati gets new ambulances in red the same time.

Louisville Metro EMS is separate from the Louisville Fire Department. LFD will go an medical calls as a first responder but there are no ambulances in the department

I just read Lexington ordered a new ladder with a low profile. Assumed it was taking this trucks spot
@CincinnatiFireApparatus8 ай бұрын
My understanding is the new Pierce that Lexington just ordered is for Ladder 5. Ladder 1 is running a 2015 Pierce and Ladder 5 currently runs a 2008 Pierce which is due for replacement.

Do you know the population of Point Pleasant, Ky? I can't find any info about it.
@CincinnatiFireApparatus7 ай бұрын
Point Pleasant is a fire protection district and not a city. They protect an area of unincorporated Boone County. Their district is adjacent to Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport so is mostly commercial and warehouses with very little residential.
@MrWolfSnack7 ай бұрын
@@CincinnatiFireApparatus Huh so it must be one of those towns that got erased from history. Reason I asked was because my great grandmother was born in Point Pleasant, KY in 1902 and lived there until the 1960's when she moved to Indiana.

Hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident, and I agree with the quick knock down ( great job guys) Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.
