The rotor in an autogyro is not motorized, it auto-rotates. But you have to first get it to some rpms you can do that making sure the rotor brake is off (near the pedals) and then engaging the pre-rotator (command is cowl flaps), this with the gyro stopped. Once you are at about 120rpm release the brakes, throttle up and when you are above 200rpm or so it will lift on his own, while still in ground effect level the gyro and with 300rpm or more you are free to climb and fly normally. Hope this helps.

I have no idea what you are talking about :) :) :) Our videos usually have from 10 to 100 views and we have about 500 subscribers, not a very succesful channel I would say but the idea is to provide quick examples on how to fly planes so people can get started, also some ideas for routes.

Yes give or take, it is intended as an air-taxi so I think anything longer than 100nm wouldn't be realistic.

First, be sure to unset the rotor brake (look for the check-list if you don't where it is located). And then you'll need to use the prerotation lever that is located just behind the stick, you can use it manually or use the " cowl flaps" input.

Yes! and in the sim the flight model is really really good. Nothing compared to 2020.

@@bluemeshstudio yes please make it when you cut the throttle to idle you can go to 0 knots and start elevating down like a helicopter, would be really cool as it does that in real life

@@corrinspots1265 Yes thats the goal. Some rotor torque is missing too, and the rotor sim need a bit of adjustment :)

Not convinced that the throttle is controlling the altitude properly feels very dependent on pitch attitude. Fuel burn also seamed quite high Other than that and the low speed characteristics. Really good. I have been desperate for a gyro in msfs after doing irl lessons which one day I will go back to.
