The greatest love story never told. I miss them and love them so much still after all these years, my heart breaks for them because they deserved their happy ending with each other, they deserved to find love and safety in each other. They were each other's true love and to me that fact is fully canon, idc what the show told us. I don't know why I never commented on this video because it used to be one of my favorites, it's so beautifully made and the song fits so well. I happened to hear this song on another fanvid to a different couple and it immediately brought back the memory of this masterpiece so I had to come back and watch it! :) Thank you for making it and may Swan Queen live on in our hearts. <3

Especially since I absolutely love your vids! 🥰 And 100% agreed about everything you wrote about Swan Queen. I still am reminded of them constantly while watching other shows or reading books. And every couple months or so I fall back into a hole where I start vidding them again and give myself feels over so many of their scenes. 😍😭 So yeah, I'm with you. I'll forever love them and what they could have been had the show realized what they had right there. 😔 But hey, at least they live on in all the fanart, fanvids and fanfic we as a fandom have created and continue to create. Pretty sure my heart will still flutter and ache at their stories in 84 years. And I'm just happy that we all get to share that joy over those stories together, regardless of what the show decided to do. 🥰

I love vids with a lot of voiceovers so this one is right up my alley, especially because they're so well thought out and fit so good with the song! <3 And yeah, I feel like there's really nothing like swan queen, nothing hits quite like them sadly. Maybe someday someone will be able to make a love story as great as theirs, but for now, I'll just continue to be heartbroken over these two, lol. I quit vidding for years but a couple weeks ago I had an urge to vid them again so I started a couple of projects but idk if I'll be able to finish them because they break my hearttttt. Swan Queen is totally a story that stays with you forever so no doubt we'll be still crying over them in 84 years, haha. I just hope youtube will still be around so we never lose masterpieces like your video!! <3

I fully understand the struggle of not knowing whether you will finish, though. Again, I have started so many videos over the years that never found their way to KZbin. So no pressure at all, but if you do finish, I can tell you I will 100% watch it the moment I see it has dropped :D

Oh god, this was perfect! 😍 The scenes choice, the voice-over, the song... I think my favourite is the whole part from 3:00 till the end. And I love the fire-breathing making for a transition in 0:58, brilliant! Then that montage in the middle, of Ed trying to talk himself into killing Stede, how you combined it with the bathtub scene and the 'You're a good man' line, awesome! (and the proceeding moment, loved how you put Ed seeing his monster caricature in the book and the flashback of killing his dad, over the song's lyrics of "This is the burden that I carry" - such a perfect fit!) The edit with silk moments was wonderful too.👌 And the beginning of the video - love how you framed the events leading to Stede being on the ship and meeting Ed, by opening with that dialogue between them about feeling like you're threading water.👌 I guess, in short, I love the whole thing. Certainly will be watching it on repeat now 😃.

@@NamelessAcquaintance I get it, I find myself doing the same when making fanvids, I always fiddle with scenes until I feel everything fits together perfectly (or 'perfect-ish' if I can't figure something out). But, I think it makes for (better) quality videos, if thought is put into these things, y'know, what scene to put here, what voice-over to use there (if any), where exactly to cut the clip, what transition to use, etc. (nothing worse than sloppily made video and scenes that don't fit anything, IMO). (Anyway, sorry for rambling ;p)

I'm currently not home so I can't check and I haven't watched the show in a while, but I think there was an I love you in the season one Finale shortly before the end as they're both lying down (though I think it was cut out in some versions of the episode) and the I love you at the end of the video should be from 2x09 if I googled correctly just now (the ep in which Quinn fires Rachel)

Glad to see that I am not the only one who isnt over them. To this day I read Swan Queen fanfics. Watching Swan Queen videos is like opening an old wound and rubbing it with salt, but fk it, still worth it :D The most obvious soulmate couple since 2011. Great video! :)
