I honestly believe this isn't a Wurlitzer Orgatron _or_ a Wurlitzer _continuous free reed_ 4600 electrostatic organ, but it's a Hammond Organ they are coining as an "electronic Wurlitzer", not a literal electronic Wurlitzer. Btw Jesse Crawford did both pipe organ and Hammond organ Christmas albums. I am always looking for any album with a Stromberg Carlson Carillon. Give me a heads up if you ever come across one, anyone. My parents had this album. Eleven kids in the house. I know every song by heart. Clearly my favorite album of all time. Makes me feel like I'm six years old and the world was in a better situation. Thanks for these beautiful songs, and bringing back tear- filled memories.

We had this album when I was a child late 60's early 70's and I loved and never forgot it. I cannot find anything on Johnny Cole other than this. Is anyone familiar with him and what esle did and when? Thanks and thanks so much for the most wonderful memories.

Pero: dispongo de facebook y KZbin, donde puedo indagar, buscar y tengo seguridad de encontrar, la musica de mi agrado. En mi casa tengo grandes espacios de algunas paredes y muebles llenos con discos de vinilo, cassettes, y mas. Ésos espacios pueden ser ocupados en otra cosa. Pero claro, no los tengo a la venta. Me gusta que Billy Vaughn haya grabado música mexicana. "Las Golondrinas", es una pieza muy popular en mi pais "México". Es una pieza que se usa para despedir a los estudiantes cuando concluyen ciclos escolares: sus estudios primarios, secundarios, o de niveles medios, superiores o universitarios. Es muy desgarradora cuando se escucha para despedir a un amigo o familiar cuando concluye su ciclo de vida, las lágrimas acuden a nuestros ojos.

You cannot get better than the Royal Philharmonic and this Best album this time of year.My Dad got this album in mid 60's and all we had in Bolivia in '67 for Christmas so far away from home in USA. Now my sister has it, and I have the Music for Every Mood collection from RD. They used to have some great collections of different genres in their catalog.

For years I thought this was Vincent Price. lol

Thank you for making this recording. Of all the many albums in this Readers Digest Collection THIS is the one that introduced me to Duke Ellington's music which I've come to love so much.
