The in game OSTs are insanely good and that's one of the biggest reasons to keep me playing, despite having rotten gacha luck lol.

As expected. Anyone else's arrangement > my arrangement. Lol. I may be the first to upload a cover of this but i know sooner many will follow and will be better. 🤭😂😁🤣
@trackernivrigАй бұрын
I really feel that lol. Except I'm not even ever first because it takes me like 4 months to learn anything lol
@ShanMichaelEscasioАй бұрын
@@trackernivrig really? For me it depends on the piece. Im just a grade 1 pianist who csn also play by ear but my playing style is limited. I watch orher pianists and try to incorporate ehat i learn i to my own plsying. Im also a nearsighted guy so im slow in reading. Currently the most challenging grnshin OST piece im dealing with is Emberfire (Aninuz Anime Piano's arrangement). That style of piece (kinda like River Flows in You and Kiss the Rain) where it gets more complex with every round of repetition. Idk what that style of composition is called, or whether there us an actual term for it. Lol

@@ShanMichaelEscasio I've been playing for years but I just don't practice nearly enough to actually improve that much. I'm really happy with how much I've learned, but I actively avoid sheet music since it takes so long to learn in favor of the piano visualizers. I usually use those and then adapt them to something I can actually play. The problem is that even though I can get a general idea of what I need to play, it's very hard for me for some reason to actually go ahead and play it without making tons of mistakes. I just play as a hobby so I tend to go and play for about an hour once every 2 or 3 weeks. I think that's why it takes me so long. At this point I've lost hope of seeing tangible improvement without starting to learn music theory.
@MelosFrolicАй бұрын
@@trackernivrig I really think sheet music is not intuitive and should be replaced by visualizer which is 10x easier to follow. I mean I wouldn't mind learning to play piano if music scores look like rhythm game lol
@trackernivrigАй бұрын
@@MelosFrolic As someone who uses exclusively piano visualizers to learn stuff, and has been playing piano for 11 years, we absolutely cannot replace sheet music with piano visualizers. There are just too many advantages that sheet music has. It's actually ingenious the way that it is written. The problem is that for me specifically, I don't know enough music theory to be able to learn from sheet music without getting a headache. That being said, learning music theory and learning from sheet music would make me a FAR FAR better pianist and musician in general. Piano visualizers definitely have their place as an easy way to convey some basic information, but if you want to play with a higher level of skill (without playing by ear or transcribing yourself), it is absolutely necessary to learn how to read sheet music well.
