I went to change the chain and adjuster in mine, wasn't the issue, it was the variator making the rattle on start up 😢

@@nKk2000TM yes had more top end , never got to dyno the car but it was a full bolt on 2.0fsi with MK6 golf R intake camshaft and K04 turbo , should he around 350-380 horse power

@@TheShakir98 soldered them at first then the car would intermittently throw the abs light so I ended up just buying a new harness from the dealer , wasnt expensive

oh yeah i just checked its the same, would need soldering near the abs module right? as I see that one end goes into the speed sensor and other end is just two open wires without connector

I'm thinking about buying a 2002 maxima. It has 180k miles. Clean title. I did my homework on these cars and for the most part, these are good reliable vehicles. Just want an honest opinion from you. Thanks.

@@kaneeyez So you're basically saying the original engines on the 2002 models are not reliable? If so, I don't have enough to rebuild or swap to a newer style engine. I only have enough to buy the car. The dealer is selling it for $2900.
