Check oil pressure sensor and get the oil pressure checked with pressure gauge. 1 long and 8 short blinks could be indication of a short circuit in electricals.Please check the wiring and for possible short circuit locations.

Get the valve clearance checked and get a full service with engine oil change,carburettor cleaning,air filter and spark plug changed. If there is power loss, please get the cylinder and piston checked.

This would cost approx. 8-9k including spare parts. Depends on the service centre labour charges.

The international models specify this at around 6000-15000kms ish but in India they only open up the head if there's issues. So factoring in this cost as a yearly/bi yearly thing can help out plan my purchase... Appreciate your reply to this question as well!

For front suspension, if the scooter is more than 2 years old / has done 20k kms, you can change the fork oil which would improve the suspension feedback. For rear suspension, only available and known solution is to adjust the preload or get an aftermarket rear suspension which I have also not tried yet.

@cheanisfariduddincheaziz4466 Part Number for Dominar 400 and KTM 390 piston rings is different.So there will definitely be changes in mfg of the parts even if the fitment is same. It’s is always recommended to use KTM parts if they are engine parts. However, part number of certain parts like water pump seals, head gasket, cylinder base gaskets, cylinder dowels are same for Dominar as well as KTM which can be used.

After 1st service engine usually gets smoother due to run-in of all parts.It is a good sign of healthy engine if the exhaust sound reduces. Once you put more Kms, exhaust sound will change.So no need to do anything, just regular maintenance and it will increase on its own.

It varies to a very negligible extent as the difference of dia between both sides is just 2-3 mm and spring design is same on both sides. As long as the reversed size matches the lower spring diameter, it’s good to go. Have had it tested and suspension works great 👍
