Why would a teacher make a 14 year old dance this variation? She is obviously talented but we have the best stars of ballet to compare her with. So she immediately has a disadvantage in a competition. When I remember the arms of Lopatkina in this variation and the height of Lopatkina's passe, and her lyrical presence, I will not be able to judge this young dancer objectively. I just see Lopatkina, Makarova, Zakharova, Makhalina in my mind's eye when I hear this music. That was a very bad call by her teachers to let her dance this.

To do odette you have to have gone through a life time of heartbreak, and be able to do the steps with it. She clearly hasn’t had a lifetime of heartbreak so she can’t pull it off

I think she did a very nice job, I love that her choreographer kept almost to the original variation. I absolutely hate to see when teachers take liberties and stick movements in that are not original to fit the student. some moments are very nice and clean.

Port au bras could use some work.

She is obviously talented girl but she is definetly not ready for this variation/part artisticly and technicly. I think only principal dancer age 20+ can do this.

Beautifully done however your third posistions should have a more ocular shape and remember that a swans arms must always be as flowy as possible it would also help if you made you're wrist bent when your raise your arms it helps give the illusion of a swan

your classical technique is beautiful!! but I would stay away from the contemporary work until you're able to ground yourself and find weightedness a little bit more
