I’ve done a few carbon fiber wraps on vehicles and I’ve only ever had customers request a hood and gas cap in carbon fiber vinyl. Never a full wrap lol that looks silly

Most wrappers I’ve seen say it’s better to cold stretch and then heat to shrink. Otherwise you can see the stretch marks. I think it also depends on the type vinyl.

Work smarter, not harder! I like to pre-stretch the big cap piece about 5-10%, let it cool, then do a cold pull on the mirror cap, and when I lift the top and bottom and give them a kiss of heat, they “hug” the curve and you end up without any tension wrinkles on your edges.
