Logan at 28-years-old, riding the high of winning his big match in the WWE, flying privately to Dallas, arriving to an electric sold out arena with the adrenaline pumping through him watching his brother box, and on top of that a NDA crew member tried starting a fight with him just 10 minutes earlier… How on earth can you be tired? Or, is it a known problem between them? Just curious how you chose this topic. Seems the younger brother is just used to it. In a way, they probably feel need for each other and to have each other’s backs, but, also probably have sibling beef. Not sure about the maturity levels in general. Nice new type of vids. Im commenting this everywhere so sorry if youve already read it but think how things couldve worked out for the UNM Lobos with a few “ ifs” of course. If these three guys see out the commitments they made and didnt transfer they couldve had a starting line up of: D.Dent, J. Tonje, J. Mashburn jt, JT Toppin and N. Jr Joseph this year !!
@mikewang3494Ай бұрын
I agree with all of it except...when Janicki (a freshman making a freshman mistake) pulled up for the 3 let's not let confidence overshadow smart play. Notice, Janicki got pulled right away after that selfish shot (he had two guys with him for an easy 3 on 1 transition hoop), and a long miss resulted in a 3 the other way. But...confidence in shooting and turning good shots into great shots is a great formula and this team is doing a lot of that so far. Better defense also. Go Badgers.

Badger basketball is like ground hog day. They will start season unranked, go on a streak to top 25, reach top 10 maybe 5, start losing mid to late season,out of ranking, lose in finals or semi finals in Big ten tournament, crawl into tournament, lose first game or second game in the tournament. Never fails.

Gard's best team is still the one who beat the STACKED #1 Villanova team. This team still has a lot to prove, but I love what I see so far. FYI, you never even brought up the actual rising star, Nolan Winter is improving every facet of his game.
@SportsChatWithMattАй бұрын
They were Gard’s most accomplished team for sure. Remembered fondly by how they played in the postseason and they knew how to win despite their limitations. A bad bench, shooting 336th in the country in free throw % (both Nigel and Happ’s FT %’s were in the 50’s), and a lack of slashing ability to the hoop. This year’s squad has some physical abilities that the 16-17 squad was missing, time will tell if they can accomplish as much.
@why-even-try-brotendoАй бұрын
@SportsChatWithMatt I want to see them play 4 or 5 Big Ten games before I make my conclusions about their toughness. We already know Crowl is soft. How will Tonje handle the swarming defense? Will Amos keep improving his all-around game? I feel like this team needs to show it can defend the perimeter better, too. Far too many wide open looks that fall against great teams later in the season. I have higher hopes for this team than any of Gard's previous teams. Blackwell is the motor, Klesmit is the glue, Tonje is the talent, Crowl is the statue, Winter is the upstart, Amos is the project, McGee is the heart, Gilmore is the coaches pet, Ilver is the bench warmer, Janicki is Manu Ginobli before he was great and Issac Gard is the nepo baby.
@HrizzzzАй бұрын
If Klezmit can start shooting better like we know he can, look out.
@why-even-try-brotendoАй бұрын
We can't count on Klesmit on offense, but he works his arse off on defense. This team isn't quite as good on defense as we are used to, so any offense we get from him will be a bonus this year.

For those wondering. Tyson was listed as 5'11 in his prime. I'm guessing it was actually 5'10. And now that he's older he might only be 5'9 and Paul looked about 5'11 1/2 vs him. Kalvin let's call him 6'0 and 1/4. Now everything makes sense and the galaxy can keep spinning again.
@chiefnakomaАй бұрын
Im going to add so far not having Tyler Wahl in the lineup. Wahl was a nice player, but he couldn't shoot, got to FT often but terrible FT shooter and often played iso ball in the post. This year Badgers typically have 5 guys that can all shoot, space the floor well and aren't selfish.
@trickknee8215Ай бұрын
Totally agree, Gard has slowly been modernizing the offense, and Wahl was the old guard. He now has what he wants - shooters everywhere on the court. Active screening. New offensive assistant coaches. It's not the "swing offense" anymore, despite what commentators continue to say. They also talk about "pack line defense", which is a Bennett thing, not a Bo/Greg thing.

Tonje is way older so he should be more mature coming to a team storr was a Freshman Transfer 😭 storr would kill tonje in a match up , storr plays more likes traditional wing who just gets straight to it , the game of basketball is real guard heavy , it’s just a play style , doesn’t excuse some of the shots he shot , but he definitely carried to the Big 10 championship, there was no other guards besides chucky , Connor was weak asl , and McGee was fighting injuries , and this was blackwells first year , it’s the not the same narrative or same type of player so you don’t compare them individually
@trickknee8215Ай бұрын
Storr can barely get off the bench, plays zero defense, is a ball-stopper who never passes, and shows little effort on rebounding. Tonje does it all, far better team player. He also won't check out half way through the season, trying to peddle his wares to the highest bidder. Tonje will score as much as Storr on much higher efficiency and do all the other things, too.
@dabucket3490Ай бұрын
@ lol lmk when you guys play real comp , AZ isn’t good fr , 2. Tonje has been in college 6 years Aj has only been in college 3 years , Aj led The badgers to the Big 10 tournament with out him yall don’t beat Purdue , or NorthWestern he literally had 30 😭 , he just came off the bench his last game and lead the number 1 team last night . Tonje has years on him and wouldn’t be able to match up with him . But Tonjes On Ball IQ is visibly higher bc storr has never been a ball dominant guard he’s an athletic wing who can finish plays at the rim and hit shots , not much of a handle threat which he can work on FOR SURE IF HE BECOMES A 6th YEAR SENIOR , use logistics and not ur feelings , who care if he wanted to get paid more and leave , people don’t work hard to make the badgers facility better lol players have families and situations that need to be taken care of . It’s a strategy not greed , if u had the opportunity to give ur family and your self more you would 😭 literally called investing in your self
@dabucket3490Ай бұрын
@ he’s top in his team right now for steals also 😭
@trickknee8215Ай бұрын
@@dabucket3490 right, Storr scored 30 which is "impressive", but Tonje hitting 41 vs a top 10 team *isn't*. Are you always talking out your ass? Because that's literally what you're doing right now. He has a bunch of steals because he plays SHIT DEFENSE and FOULS OUT on short bench minutes. He would rather make splash plays than play good defense, so he's constantly reaching in and giving up foul shots. Storr is a garbage person, he was literally spending more time trying to get paid the NEXT YEAR to put in the work down the stretch for the NIL he was getting THAT YEAR. Fuck his family. Tonje has one, too, this is about CHARACTER, which Storr lacks. He'll never amount to anything in the NBA with zero work ethic and low efficiency. Tonje clearly the better player for the Badgers (and would be better for Kansas, as well, on like 1/10 the NIL money).
