Just looking to see what chords to play. Beautiful cover! Thanks for sharing that.

Another case of Someone taking a Great Parody Song from Scandihoovian Vaudeville dating from the 1940s outta Snus Junction/Ballard/Seattle... AND Folks, this is The U.S. of A. , so these aptly named Honyockers were completely free to use the same Title (otherwise I could've been Spared this 🎵💩) but totally Bastardize the whole song. The HIL-LIAR-REE, MOO-SCHELL, KAMELTOEand DANAGASH MISANDRY* UNLIMITED QUARTET maybe could jump in on the fun too! {{* Misandry is, the Antonym for the often-Bantied About Term Misogyny}}

Wonderful song - powerful vocals, incisive lyrics with good acoustic instruments. Wonder why this band is not well known at least to the extent of Jayhawks or Son Volt . Seems Gear Daddies is not a good name for a band

Just got recommended this again. I've always loved the song. I'm ashamed to see that I hadn't pressed "like" yet. Fixed that.

Ps. I Met My Soon to Be Ex-Husband as I Literally Ran Into Him At the Very Crowded Pan-O-Prog in 2005 and As I Was Turning Around to Say "What the Hell Dude, Have Another.."!!! We Locked Eyes (His Were Soooo Incredibly Beautiful and I Could See His Soul In Them-Thought it Was Beautiful and It Was Till Various Addictions Turned His Eyes Black and I Couldn't See That Beautiful Soul in His Once Dreamy Eyes Any More- His Dark Eyes Actually Scared Me to Death The First Evening That l I Couldn't Get Away Fast Enough.... The Rest of The Evening Consisted Of Both Of Us Ditching Our Friends and Dancing/Singing to GB Lieghton Front Row, Stage Right an Inch From the Speaker (Couldn't Hear For a Week!!!)- The Night Ended With Us Walking Around For An Hour (After Trying to Find Our Friends Through the Crowd to Say Sorry and We're Heading Out, Talk to Ya Tomorrow") to Locate My Car That I Drove 100 Mph Down Cedar Ave to See GB After a Big Softball Tournament. Did I Mention I Didn't Even Take Time to Get Out of My Stinky, Dirty Uniform After Playing 7 Ball Games in 90% Heat! Don't Think I Even Took the Time to Put Deodorant and Check How I Looked in the Mirror- Just Threw My Hat On and Hit the Gas Pedal to the Floor!!! We Finally Found My Truck Parked Crooked About 7 Blocks Up (Never Have Been Great at Parallel Parking, Especially With a Million Cars Parked (Very Close) On Every Street in Downtown!!! He Drove Me Home and We Spent Almost Every Day Together - After He Finally Convinced His Long Time Girlfriend That They Were Over, It Took Approximately 2 Weeks. The Rest As They Say Was History!!! 😮😅😂😢

I live right down the road from the Dells. My kids learned how to work in the Dells. Working in the Dells is helping to put them through college. I met the Gear Daddies while in college. I met my wife there too. College was good to me. Gear is good. It all comes full circle. Circle of life.

Yeah I had a dream about you. Looking down from the moon. From all you have to say. And thinking and blinking of how you was spelled. And can't get it out. Cause you could never brake the chain. And the aliens was flabbergasted. Of why it was what it was. And how you got spelled to remember more. So remember faster you talk. The more they'll be more.? 😇=LWR=+
