hey! i’m not sure how for you’ve gone now but make sure your first row has the same number of stitches as the chains and also make sure your tension is pretty consistent throughout!!

you can if you want to! just make the front and back panel as long as you'd like! measure from your neck to where you'd want it to stop and make it accordingly :)

My moms been into crochet for years and always made sweaters for kids/babies and they do look good but for some reason it always looks so baggy, (not just with her work that’s my opinion on all crochet things) but this top honestly does look so professional and turned out so good!!!

it took one of my friends a day and it took me two, 8 hours in total. It really depends on speed !
