Hi DG, I am enjoying your feedback on the Baviaans trip. We are going to approach this time from Patensie. Then Kudu Kaya, then Uitspan on the western side. Just want to hear what you had your tyre pressures on. Keep up the good trips, we visited Dinokeng after your report. Went to Ou Kraal unfenced camp, Old Marekele and his partner were less than 80 from us, roaring the entire night and passed out camp about 50 meters from us, minding their own business. 🙂

Hi Pieter So glad you enjoying the channel! Thank you! I deflated the tyres on the trailer and car. Trailer 1.5 and the car 1.8. Had no issues at all. Loved the trip. We off to Mabuasehube in 2 weeks, solo, and plan to deflate to 1 on the trailer and 1.5 on the car, due to the sand. Enjoy.

What route did you drive from JHB, booking numbers, and pensioner rates
@DGOverlanding6 ай бұрын
Hi. We drove from Johannesburg through Bloemfontein to Middelburg (Cape) where we camped at a lovely place called Welvanpas (see our review). From there we travelled through Graaf-Reniet, Willowmore, Uniondale, George to Victoria Bay. Contact them on Tel: 044 889 0081 or Cell: 083 530 8143. I used the cell which they seem to monitor all the time. It's best to contact them with regard the pricing, or see their website victoriabaycaravanpark.co.za/pricing/ as they have various rules etc. pertaining to pensioner rates. NOTE: On the way down we detoured from Willowmore and 4x4'ed through the Baviaanskloof. You need a 4x4 and in places its rough and there are some hectic water crossings. Enjoy !

Just a quick one with the wood fired hot tub, I see that you said that you can order one, does it come at an extra cost? If so, how much do they charge?

Hi. You will have no problem in getting to Jabula with a GTI, in my opinion. Also most of the roads in Dinokeng should be ok, but all depends on the rain they have had. We have not been to Dinokeng for a few months.
