You should definitely wait unless you have somewhere warm and frost free all of the things I have read says wait until the soil warms up before planting them out I hope this helps good luck and please let me know how you get on thanks for watching 😊

Hey, love the information I have a few additional questions. If I have some petunias in small clay pots and hanging baskets can I just cut them right back or should I lift them right out and lessen the root ball?. Also do I water them at all through the winter season?. Last but not least, do they just wake up in early spring, or do they require lights, heating pads, water. I do not have a green house more like a green house shelf. It has poly over it a fan and an option for heating pads and lights. Which I use to start my cuttings and seeds. But I’ve never used it to over winter anything.

Why do you need to trim the tops off? Will it work if I don't trim the top leaves?
@_Happysowinghappygrowing5 ай бұрын
By trimming the the tops it stops them losing to much moisture before they develop their own roots I hope this helps thanks

I love lupins I was late at buying the plant this year they were beautiful red the bees absolutely love them they are so pretty. My question is I’ve cut them back today and took the furry pods off. I’ve popped open a couple and there is no seeds . I’m only new to gardening if anyone could point me in right direction . When’s best to put them in the soil do you just put them in where you want them to grow . Thank you 🌸
