I met an elderly guy named George that used to run d8 in Yeager, told me he seen Harvey come up on the landing in his first 4x4 covered in mud. I killed my first buck in Yeager,they alternated weekends woods/ mill. Ran around all over gp/ LP property growing up before sold to maxam, Granville knew all of us kids by name, lost way of life for kids today,if you could get them outside.

Hi Lo, Tan oaks are evergreen. Tanoak trees (Lithocarpus densiflorus syn. Notholithocarpus densiflorus), are not true oaks like white oaks, golden oaks or red oaks. Rather, they are close relatives of the oak ( in the family Fagaceae which includes Beeches, Oaks and Chestnuts), which relationship explains their common name.
