Eddy used to work with my dad in the Hydo. He visited us in Sheffield, where we we spent many hours listening to his songs on our old radio gram. 😂 Is Eddy still alive. My dad, Tas Willcox, is now 88 and lives in Latrobe. He often tells stories about Eddy and the Hydro.

Yes he’s still alive he’s my pop he’s actually sitting right next to me as I’m writing this. He’s just retelling a joke he heard tas say on the way to work or something it roughly goes like this “someone’s pinched my gate” then jack said “did you not him out?” Then tas says “ no I thought he might take a fence (offence)” idk something like that ask him maybe he remembers!!

Rod's son Jon talked me into backing them up one New Years Eve on drums at the Fireside. Jon was playing piano. At one point while Rod was playing this tune, Jon turned around and yelled "breathe"! Apparently I was listening intently to Rod's yodeling and held my breath.
