Great video and interview. Excellent information. I miss JC Whitney's catalog each year, I bought quite a few things from JC Whitney in the 1980's and 1990's. I think the last thing I bought was a 75 amp alternator upgrade kit in 1992, and a chrome housing for my former 1966 Mustang Fastback.

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're glad you enjoyed the video and interview. It's amazing to hear about your experiences with JC Whitney over the years. We're still here, and we hope you continue to be a part of our journey! 🚗

I started purchasing from JC Whitney back in High School 1968 for my first car, a 1955 Ford. I always looked forward to their magazines each month. ;-) I also had a '62 "327" Vette and a '62 Impala SS "409." Eventually I picked up a '62 Impala SS 327 Convertible. (I also used to buy and sell classic cars years ago). '62s were cool for sure! The rarest Chevy I ever owned was a '61 Impala SS with the pre "409" 348 motor. I've only seen 5 of them in my life.

Mr. Barton, What a great story. Mr. Sala- Belen , Loved your style of Interviewing. My 4 favorite cars are as follows: 1950 Studebaker Champion ( my first car) I was 16 . My aunt "sold" it to me for $1.00 .My 2nd Car 1956 Chevrolet 2 door 150 sedan Twilight Turquoise.Bought it in 1964 for $200.00 .Kept it until 1978. My 3rd car (the one I loved the most) 1966 Chevelle Super Sport 396 w/black buckets ,Muncie four speed , 325 HP (the lowest HP offered) ,Marina Blue , black vinyl top ,no A/C ,no power windows BUT, I did order power steering because the engine was so heavy. I got it at Kalgian Chevrolet in Los Banos CA in late 1965. I paid $3,767.00 and sold it in 1983 (Big Mistake) for $1,000. I then bought a 1956 Chevrolet Nomad ,Sierra Gold 265 ci ,Cast iron power glide. The Nomad was a nice car but not my favorite.

From Dan the Man: "Good question, I guess I just morphed into doing it full time when I realized there are many ppl that for whatever reasons don’t want to deal with all the inquiries that come along with selling these cars. So, the combination of love of these cars and I love ppl. It works."

In my collecting years people used to ask me the same thing and my answer was always the same. "As for my cars....I own them......they don't own me!" ;-)

Thoroughly remove all the rust you can first, then use Por-15 antirust treatment over it all. Let that dry and then use their thick black "paint" product over the top. It's super tuff and works GREAT! ;-)

do you know what real convenience is? only packing what is absolutely necessary - and if a mattress pump isn't needed, don't bring it...100 pumps ain't nuthin'... i'm 60 - we would laugh while our parents spent 45 minutes blowing those things up by themselves...then walking around like they're drunk for 20 minutes...fun times

I purchased a Coverlay dash cover directly from Coverlay Manufacturing for my Lexus. The cover arrived with large manufacturing defects and the adhesive to install it was missing. I contacted Coverlay and emailed the requested photos. When I didn't hear back from them, I tried to email them again only to find out my email was blocked!! Buyer beware! They do not stand behind their product. I have since read additional reviews of the paint coming off when they removed the tape during installation, etc. Try Dashskin instead at half the price of Coverlay.
