Oooh! The coat rack looks like a plant with that bucket, BUT ALSO by putting items in the bucket, you add weight to the bottom of the rack, lowering its center of gravity and making it more stable! I've always disliked tree-style coat racks because they fall over so easily

Yes! For the best results I shave in the morning and do this at night (I find my skin doesn’t get irritated at all like this)

Pro tip for the Vaseline tin, once there is only product left in the outer corners place the tin (lid off) on the stove while baking or cooking something and the Vaseline will melt let cool and the product will be back in the center. Do not place directly in the oven or on the burner.

Actually, our trip was originally booked for January and had to be rescheduled because of a severe snow storm, resulting in us ultimately going in June. So, I'd advise to aim for Spring, Fall, Summer, or Winter (in that order, Spring really is the best time). Hope this helps!

In our opinion yes, very. The best way for you to decide is to make a list of the things you wanna see, and how much they cost per person. Come up with a total value for this. Then, check out how many of those things are included with the NY pass and how much you’d have to pay for the NY pass (how many days you’d want it). This way you can compare total prices and see what’s best for your case! For us, we found 95% of the attractions we wanted were on the pass and saved over 60% of the original prices at the end of it 😍

I've never been to New York City, my father lived and worked in Manhattan for 31/2 years in the 60's, the first time he visited the World Trade center was on September 11, 1974 coincidentally, subway fare was 70¢ at that time

I'm a little back and forth with the Apple Watch as a minimalist tool. I've been wearing an Apple Watch every day for over 7 years now. In the last couple weeks, I've been wearing it less and less. I've noticed my anxiety levels have dropped. I'm not super-aware of notifications popping up (I have it limited to just phone calls and texts on both my phone and watch). I'm not worried about filling those exercise rings daily. I'm not worried about fitting in a workout in on those days where I just can't do anything more. On the other hand, as you've mentioned, the watch can also help with anxiety. When I have panic attacks, my heart rate does go up, and I can use that breathe app. I'm very back and forth whether I want to keep it or go back to my old mechanical watch I was using before my first smartwatch. It's an old, minimal watch that still works and looks perfect. Over the last 7 years, I've spent a lot of money on different Apple Watch upgrades. Thanks for sharing what you use yours for!

I think the best way to find out is to make the swap for 1 month and note how you feel/what you miss! I love experimenting with these things and for me I go through periods where I use it every day and periods I don't touch it for months. For example, I haven't put on my apple watch daily for about 3 months now, but DO put it on for exercise sessions to track my workouts for motivation. When you buy these things long term, they're always fun to fall back in love with for a season.

I have the Kobo Clara HD too! Going on 3 years with it and I have no desire to replace it with a newer version. I got it on sale for just under $100. It’s the perfect size and I exclusively read library books with it. With overdrive/libby, it’s just too easy to get free library books so I’ve only ever purchased one book 😅 I do recommend that folks try to borrow an ereader from a friend if they can or do their research to make sure it’s a useful product for them because to make up for the device’s carbon footprint you must read at least 36 books. This is not a lot for big readers, but for people who only read a handful of books a year, I don’t think it’s worth the investment or environmental cost. Just my two cents as I’m seeing them trend more and more and I worry people are influenced to buy them simply because everyone else is. Silver lining though - people may be able to find them in secondhand stores!

And I didn’t know the cool fact about the 36 books 😍 pretty sure I did that in the first 6 months hahah but definitely if you plan on keeping it long term it’s absolutely doable as you say. Loads available second hand indeed!
