I don't regret joining. But I think it's safe to say that The Marine Corps is FAR from a "brotherhood", it's one big gang of narcissists with ranks. Just my opinion based on my personal experience. I definitely have a thicker skin for going through it.

I didn’t have the greatest time in the Marine Corps either. When you’re young, you try things out because you’re still figuring out who you are. In hindsight, the uniform just ‘never fit right’ if you know what I’m saying. Still, like you, I’m not mad I joined. Plus doing it helped me pay for my education all the way through my Master’s program with ZERO student debt. A real blessing in these times.
