In 2012, during a solar eclipse event in NV USA, I lost my data. While in the hotel room, I was able to find, pay for and recover all files. I have changed computers 3 times since then and each time I have called up Stellar (or on line?) and reactivated my software that I purchased from them. Unfortunately, this time, around June 2024 I contacted them for my new win 11 PC and they denied I ever had business with them and refused to activate MY software.

If it’s good everywhere at home then it sounds like you likely have wireless interference at home. Too close to a radio transmitter of some sort? Or powerful router? Something with a powerful electric motor?

@ I’ve thought of that, there’s a cell tower for Verizon and T-Mobile a block away BUT my kids AirPods don’t cut out like mine do so it has me stumped. Could be the WiFi router too… maybe my AirPods are just “special”

@homerm hopefully you can figure it out someday. There’s an intersection beside my condo where my AirPods always cut out if I stand on a certain corner. Unfortunately it can happen.

Idk if you fixed it, and I don’t have a solution. But could it be that you have several devices connected to it? And it tries to switch back and forth?

@@ThaNinjazTube I thought it’d be that but it began doing it at work (only my work truck and AirPods are connected.) and randomly at the stores or driving around (I know it’s not safe but my car stereo is trashy, plus I use the transparency mode most of the time.) I just upgraded my phone from the 11 to the current pro max. I’ll be testing it out today while I prep my lunch for work. If I remember, I’ll update you. I do believe it’s the phone (since the issue started with iOS 18.1) or the AirPods (after iOS 18.1) but so far, I haven’t had any issues thus far 🤞🏼

You can also try pairing the remote. Hold the back button and +. You need to hold it close to the Apple TV box. The video method didn’t work for me but this did.

I tried everything from all the videos I watched, and I finally figured it out! Here’s what worked for me: I borrowed my friend’s AirPods Pro case (same version as mine), put my AirPods inside his case, and paired it with my phone. After that, I switched my AirPods back into their original case, and now they work perfectly!

Thank you so much. It helped me. Suddenly, the Apple TV stopped controlling the volume of my TV and sound bar. Doing exactly this reset fixed the problem.
