I swear to god, whenever I get into combat with someone else irl, I will proceed to delay my attacks.. that will put the fear of god into their hearts and throw off their calculations

@@WolfFistProductions im surprised that anyone would like to see a Real struggle. Im running pretty much full survivability build with reflex and defense spines mk2, as for cores it was damage reduction mk 1 and 2, melee dmg reduction mk2 and attack speed mk2 so i dont get caught in the middle of a combo

@ltheabyssl Awesome. I mean I enjoy "no damage" runs as much as the next person. But seeing a good player fight but get hit just "hits differently." Feels more like playing vs watching "My fingers can't do that!" Lol

I like that you post your boss challenges as you played them, mistakes and all. I get so tired of the virtuoso perfect no damage vids out there. What's your build? Looks like crit boost and maybe Protection Exospine? I got my best time on Hard with Beta + Reflex (both Mk2) exospines, two attack speed buffs and two beta attack buffs.

@@papacharlie-niner148 i mostly did the videos for myself so didnt have anything to prove. For the 2nd half of the bosses i used Protection MK2 and Reflex MK2 exospines, and as for mods dmg reduction mk 1 and 2, attack speed mk2 and melee dmg reduction mk2

@@ltheabyssl Same for me. I haven't posted any yet, but I'm just recording them as I played them, mistakes and all. Thanks for the build info. I like seeing different approaches to each boss. There's a vid out there using Eagle Eye and 4 Double Edge mods and did a lot of damage just shooting, which is not as crazy an approach as it may sound, given how hard it is to keep the target in melee range.

Which can STILL be countered with a fucking parry. And even then, the first damn Hollow doesn’t need to be incessantly overpowered. The attack is still easily readable & can be countered in one or two hits max!

Good thing there are so many ways to cheese the bosses in ER. Boss attacks in Demon's Souls and Dark Souls actually made sense most of the time.

To this day, Margit and Morgott are the fights I struggle with the most on my playthroughs, other than Malenia. I despise delayed attacks and find them so incredibly boring in terms of fight design. I much prefer Bloodborne-style, relentless fights that don't let you breath rather than the Elden Ring formula of bosses constantly taking breaks mid attack XD

Depending om what Fromsoft game you played mainly previously it will determine how quickly you adapt to ER. Example, Bloodborne was VERY LITTLE delayed attacks, everything is quick, rampant and inmediate, Sekiro on the other hand has a LOT, A MASSIVE LOT of delayed attacks, more than ER honestly. Hell if it wasn't for the deflect mechanic people would righteously say that Sword Saint Isshin is the hardest boss FromSoft has ever done, making Malenia look like a joke.
