It's decent... Sure wish I could get about 6 yards of that fabric, I would make a dressing gown out of it.

Welcome back, Annabelle! HOW DID YOU AND BEN MEET?! With this kind of an introduction, I’d love to hear the story. I’m sorry that you and Ben had so many trials in the last year, but I’m glad that you made it through. Lastly, are you wearing t a Batwoman cosplay that we haven’t seen before? It looks good.
@AnnabelleAndBensAntics3 күн бұрын
I am! Though I have worn it in a few videos just as an around the house dress as it's very comfy! The one I'm wearing I brought but I want to make my own as well and do a side by side of them both :)

Yes, video on how you two met. Sorry for all the bumps in the road. Sounds quite hellish ! SO glad you've got your own space, have your dream job, and that Ben told you to ride through the rough patch. The sneak peak looks fantastic! Definitely interested in the wool processing & spinning. I have done drop spindle, it is SO challenging! Never used a spinning wheel, though !? Pretty sure "Ashford" is made in Australia? They make some cool wheels ! And looms, too !
@AnnabelleAndBensAntics3 күн бұрын
Yes they are and I managed to get one second hand! (Not the one in the video) Though I haven't had a chance to use it yet. My goal is to try and spin my own yarn to make fabric for some of my cosplays. It's a dream but I think we could do it!!!!

Getting the sewing machine series back up and running is a big goal of mine for next year, especially as there's a lot that never got there own video. However as I will likely struggle unpacking them I've been picking up mini antique and vintage machines to try first!

1939? That's practically new. My Singer was made in 1888. If you have Amish in your area, the Singer shop will have parts for treadle machines.
@AnnabelleAndBensAntics11 күн бұрын
Unfortunately I don't think there's many Amish in the UK or Australia but if I'm ever in the Usa I'll keep an eye out. Otherwise spare parts wise eBay is my best option!

@AnnabelleAndBensAntics12 күн бұрын
I do slow down a lot already when filming. Believe it or not I usually talk a lot quicker than this naturally! However if your struggling you can try adjusting the video playback speed to slow it down a bit more :)

I didn't know that the SINGER plate was missing and the model number was written underneath it. Normally when I collect items, I don't remove the plate. In Japan, after World War II, a model with a Matcha brown-like color instead of black was released.
@AnnabelleAndBensAntics12 күн бұрын
I have one of the matcha ones and there very cool looking machines :)
@Professor_Mori_DIY13 күн бұрын
It was interesting to see all kinds of antique sewing machines. In addition to SINGER, there was also a collection of Japanese manufacturer Janome, so I felt a sense of familiarity. Is the model 37:31 the type where the bobbin moves left and right in a zigzag pattern? I don't think there were many models of this type. There are so many manufacturers in Japan, so why not look for an interesting sewing machine?
@AnnabelleAndBensAntics12 күн бұрын
Oh yes I'm always looking for more to collect though many of my recent additions have been miniature ones as we don't have a lot of space right now :)
@lindadalton266822 күн бұрын
Slow down just a bit it’s hard to understand you talking that fast. And I’m here in the US and the accent is a bit hard to keep up with that fast
@AnnabelleAndBensAntics21 күн бұрын
Unfortunately I already slow down a lot when talking on videos, any more and it would be very uncomfortable for me and I start slurring my speech. If you need help understanding it id either turn on subtitles or change the playback speed to be lower.

Each grommet has to have a die set that is the same size as the grommet you are setting. So a 14 mm grommet needs to be set with a 14 mm die set. Ask me how I know…
