Do you think it could be modified to house an outdoor kitchen with a grill?
@JFlip92Ай бұрын
The shelving can be modified within the shed to be rearranged, however i don't think adding a grill wouldn't be smart as there wouldn't be proper ventilation and could potentially melt the structure.

Hi there!! Great job on your shed base!! Inspired me to buy the exact shed! Lol! I too went with a wood base and built it to the specifications in the manual. The anchoring points to lock down the floor align perfectly. But, the points to anchor the steel plates and beams attached to the walls don’t align with joists. Did you have the same issue? If so, what did you do?
@JFlip923 ай бұрын
Hi thanks and nice! I didn't have the same issue since i modified my base dimensions. If you can get under the base you can add additional blocking to connect the joists together and attach it to that. If not as long as the floor is connected with lag bolts to the joists you shouldn't have to worry since the floor has pretty nice slot connections that the shed walls connect and lock into. This helps tie the shed to the floor really well. You can add additional screw attachments at the spots that don't alight with the joists to connect into the plywood for extra attachments. Since the plywood is already connected to the joists their is already sufficient load transfer for the base structure.

Ours came in a few weeks ago & we are loving it so far. I have some modifications to still make yet but all in all well worth the money. We added the LED strip lights all around the inside frame. About 30’ in length. Works with a remote & can change the colors as well. Just bright enough to see. Didn’t put ours on a platform. Sits right on a gravel patio area and so far so good. Had to level it all out of course but easier and quicker than building the platform. We have the same backyard bar sign as well along with one or two more from our recent trip to key west. Picking up a fridge this weekend hopefully. Cooler isn’t cutting it. Thanks for the video tho. Great idea with the water. Cheers

Did you have any worries with TV and mount weight when installing? I know it gives a suggested limit. I’ve got a TV in my house I don’t use, looking at flat mounts to use and following what you did.
@JFlip925 ай бұрын
The TV i installed is a 40" Roku TV. The TV and mount are below the recommended limit of 20 lbs. I don't see there being an issue going up to a 43" or even 50" TV even if the total weight is around 30-40 lbs. I wouldn't exceed that though with risk of the rails pulling out of the plastic potentially if there is to much weight on it.

Honestly if you pick up one of those thin, tall oscillating fans and put it in the back corner, they work great. It’s what we did. The AC I’m sure will work but with awning open can’t see it doing much to keep you cool. Let me know tho.

Overall I like it a lot. Its reinforced with metal rails throughout so its very sturdy when assembled correctly . The door is about a 6' clearance. I am over 6' tall and have to duck down slightly when entering and existing. Its very easy to clean and maintain. I will be posting more detailed videos later this month. I made a custom 10'x12' platform made out of treated 2"x6", treated 3/4" plywood, and trex decking. The manual provides critical attachment points that are needed to mount the shed to with lag bolts if building a wood base. I expanded on their plan and made a larger platform . The platform is sitting on tough blocks. I can make an in-depth video if there is enough interest as I have it documented.
