Good content, nice to have a look at the next year kites. I don't understand why f-one would go with the air valves that Ralph Grossel prefers. The valves on f one kites were good, now they will be using the same valve system has duotone had? An extra valve for deflate? is just more valves to eventually leak, and unnecessary weight added. Also just my opinion, but the bandit looked better before.
@Kitesurfing2 ай бұрын
Brandon Scheid had some interesting feedback when we told him the F-One style valve that Slingshot started using on a wing last was one of our favourites during testing. He liked them too but also listed a long list of drawbacks. I think it was in a wing video last year. I'll see if I can find the footage.

@@Kitesurfing thank you for your reply. Sure diferent riders have different preferences. I am just an advocate for simplicity. Also found ironic they would get rid of the one pump clips on all struts to cut down weigth (this I understand, a kite propably would only need one clip in one strut in case of pack down situation in self rescue). The trigger v2 looks good tough. Just hope f one does not loose it's identity just to follow a sudden trend in the market.

I've used the original 9m Neo DLAB a couple seasons now. Someone was asking about it and I said I thought it handled gusts a little better, which seemed counter-intuitive since it is a stiffer air frame. I'm not super experienced, but kiting in the Gorge exposes you to a fair amount of "punchy" conditions. I'm glad to hear the designer confirming this perception.

The Rebel D-lab looks great! Nice to see all the Aluula. Thanks to Ocean Rodeo for bringing it to their kites, and pushing the industry forward! The really sad part, is OR is no longer in business, and therefore not doing the same thing with their Aeris canopy material like they showcased in their wings and that one demo kite last year. If they were still in business, they would push the industry to the new, stronger, lighter, and fully recyclable material. Kinda disappointed by that. No other manufacturer is using it.

I hear you. I am a huge OR fan as well. Checkout the Airush Lift Team kite. This is the only kite to my knowledge using the new Aires material. Fingers crossed we will see more kites with it in the future!
