Geoffrey Abbott has done a great service in his history research. His documentation helps us understand the dark history that the powerful elite would rather bury and call conspiracy, like the Iron Maiden.

It's the icing on the cake when the original actors read audiobooks - almost as if the character is reading their memoirs. It's the reason I'm not interested in Jon Culshaw using impressions on his audiobooks, or any of the numerous recast roles that Big Finish now have. For me, if it's not the original actor, then it is not the character.
