Sold too many good star players (Trossard, MacAlister, Caicedo) and once the remaining star players (March, Mitoma ) got injured … everything came tumbling down. You need a good midfield player with vision and better strikers.

He ruied all the rest season after the tackle although the direct injury wasn't the knee, but affected his back. Brighton now from 6th →12th after his injury. The lost of Mitoma changed Brighton from one of the best to the bottom.

Brighton were not equipped for playing every 3 days, really unlucky with injuries as well. De Zerbi is still a quality manager

if it were Mitoma, he'd be crucified by his haters. I remember when Mitoma missed even one shoot, Enciso's fans accused him and said " loser, benched him ""death penalty" but DZB said to Duch media " people never understood how Mitoma was good".
