When someone thought of putting wheels on suitcases in 1970, it was logical, but it took millennia to realize it. Likewise, I was wondering when they would add a reversible gear mount to camera-enabled PoC devices, allowing them to be comfortably used as a Bodycam. The LYNKNEX team has earned my admiration. Now, let me tell you, this product is a must have. You started the video with a police car and showed a rotating camera. Since Mobile PoC devices can only have one camera (e.g. MNC360), the ideal would be to have at least two: one facing the cab and one facing forward, and even more for trucks, providing real-time views. This is what is missing to complete the PoC product line. Good video

It's very interesting to see Motorola presenting the Tetra, whose advantages are extraordinary, and how they are incorporating LTE technology. I liked seeing many women presenting, including Motorola's director. However, I believe they should focus on competing with ideas and leave behind the politics of awakening, which does so much damage to brands. They should try to stay as far away as possible from cases like Bud Light.

FYI... Dual-mode radio are there since a while in the market. DMR/PoC.

V700 has streaming capability to the cloud and evidence is retrievable for 180 hours I believe. Everyone needs one of these. I was tackled by this dude (never seen or talked to him before) when I was coming out of a bar and luckily managed to get back up again by grabbing his beard and not letting go. If I had video of the attack it would have made all the difference.

I was delighted to see the number of professional women at the Hytera stand, including many engineers and marketing managers. Xiaocui Long, an engineer and inventor, stood out in particular. What Hytera showcased confirmed what your interviewee said: Hytera is much more than just PMR. They are committed to establishing research and development centers across various continents and producing high-quality products. Additionally, their collaboration with 3GPP and TCCA to work with other brands is remarkable. It was impressive to see Hytera so close to Teltronic, and the range of Bodycams, PoC terminals, intrinsically safe equipment certifications, and AI applications are astonishing.

Lets wait till someone find out they steal their technology. By the way, those radios are not prohibited because they infringe Motorola patents?

The video is quite interesting, but it is clear that the camera in question is far from being considered professional. Motorola, once again, loses ground in this field. The lack of an operating system that allows the loading of other applications, such as those dedicated to facial or patent recognition through artificial intelligence, is a significant limitation. Additionally, the absence of Bluetooth and the shortcomings in the cable of the other helmet camera leave much to be desired. In contrast, Hytera's cameras offer versatility by being able to be used in three different ways. They can function as a speaking microphone connected to a conventional DMR/Tetra radio, or as a PoC device. Their advantage lies in having an operating system that facilitates interaction with cameras from other brands in the control tower, allowing for greater integration and functionality.

Unfortunatly this is beginning to sound more and more like a setup for huge cost overruns. Its migrating more and more into the "smart sphere" where unfortunately if we arent careful it will be easy to sink hundreds of millions in consultancy costs. If we thought RAKEL's cost overruns were bad. We have alot yet to find out. All im hearing is buzzwords and "cloud" which is IT-language for "expensive"
